Wizkid Pictured Pants Down in the Toilet for FAB Magazine Cover (Photos)

  On what is set to be the most controversial magazine cover in Nigeria, African digital magazine, FAB, is featuring Star Boy boss, Wizkid on its latest cover.   FAB magazine which stands for Fabolous, African, Black, relaunches on www.fab.ng with the first digital copy to be given out free of charge, and music star, Wizkid was pictured posing on the actual cover with a black leather jacket, a black hat and dark shades.   In an inside photo which is the real eye catcher, shows Wizkid pants down sitting on a toilet bowl while holding a toilet roll made up of Pounds Sterling. The kind of injustice, malpractice and corruption going on in that school is unprecedented.  The latest one is the battle for the VC's office, Since the present VC Prof. Emmanuel Kucha will be leaving by November. He has left the school damaged without recognition. I wish you can visit or talk to any of your sources in makurdi.  Anyway, more than 11 people contested for the position, as at the day before yesterday, they were reduced to 9, who went in for the final rounds of vetting and interview yesterday. The outcome was released and the favorite candidate came first. That was the news yesterday, but this morning (today) the result have changed, due to external politically corrupt individuals who call themselves stakeholders in the state, who had never one day contributed to the success of the students or staff of that school.  To come and force a candidate

Armed Robber Apprehended While Playing Keyboard in Church Few Hours After Robbery (Photos)

The suspects   A 23-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Ndidi, has been apprehended by security operatives on Saturday in a church in Agbor, Delta state, few hours after he led a two-man gang to unleash terror at the Sunny Ojougboh area in Agbor.   According to a report by PoliticsNGR, the suspect who is a native of Ohunmere, said he is a Ghana returnee and was a bus driver in Ghana. He confessed that he delved into robbery so as to earn a daily living.      Speaking on why he did not go back to the driving profession, he said that it was the devil that made him not to venture into any meaningful business except crime.   He appealed that he should be pardoned as he will not steal again. Gov. Fayose Announces Plan to Dump PDP for APC

  Governor Ayodele Fayose   Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has said that he will dump the People’s Democratic Party if the Supreme Court ruling does not favour the Makarfi-led caretaker committee in the leadership face-off with Sherrif.   According to a media report by Channels TV, Fayose said this to newsmen on Tuesday while reacting to media reports that he had removed the name and logo of the PDP from his campaign office and mini signposts mounted on Ado and Ikere-Ekiti roads.   Fayose, however, stated that he remains a bona fide member of the PDP until the outcome of the court ruling.   Despite reconciliation efforts, the governor has stated several times that he does not recognise Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the party’s leader.   On February 17, a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt had ruled that the caretaker committee headed by Senator Ahmed Makarfi was illegal and could not act on behalf of the PDP.   Meanwhile, the governor also met

File photo used only for illustrative purpose   Bhadmus Abiodun, a former Chief Accountant of Vanguard Newspaper, was on Tuesday sentenced to 14-years in prison by Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of an Ikeja High Court for forgery and stealing N3.1million.   The money belongs to the media house.  “The defendant is hereby sentenced to seven years in prison on count one.  He is sentenced to seven years in prison each for counts two to eight. “The prison terms for counts two to eight are to run concurrently,”  the judge said.   Mr. Abiodun, a middle-age man and a resident of No. 5, Tijani Ashogbon St., Bariga, Lagos was convicted of an eight-count charge of conspiracy.   Two of the charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, are stealing and forgery.   Mr. Abiodun was initially arraigned alongside Samuel Ogbole, the Vanguard Media Representative for Onitsha.   Mr. Ogbole, however, absconded when bail was granted to the duo by t

Students and staff of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta are happy following the suspension of their VC   Staff and students of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) were elated following news that their embattled Vice chancellor, Prof. Olusola Oyewole has been suspended by the Federal Government as a result of series of petitions bothering on alleged mal-administration and financial malpractices.   The staff openly fried akara (bean cake) in the field to celebrate the exit of the embattled VC. The students on their part had posters with very bad words describing and cursing the VC.     The symbolic activity of frying 'akara' in Yoruba culture is done to celebrate the passage of a dead one.   As at 11.00am the open grounds had both the Non-Academic union, the senior civil workers' arm of the university and the association of technologists ready to throw elaborate party after the new of the suspension broke.
