The suspects   A 23-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Ndidi, has been apprehended by security operatives on Saturday in a church in Agbor, Delta state, few hours after he led a two-man gang to unleash terror at the Sunny Ojougboh area in Agbor.   According to a report by PoliticsNGR, the suspect who is a native of Ohunmere, said he is a Ghana returnee and was a bus driver in Ghana. Chisom Okereke lost her life during childbirth   Chisom Okereke, the pretty young mother of two who died tragically on April 30th, 2017, while giving birth to her third child (who also died), has been laid to rest amid tears in Awka, Anambra state.   Family sources said Chisom was abandoned and left unattended to deal with labour pains and other pregnancy complications at the Magodo Specialist Hospital. File photo: Commercial bus in Lagos   Alamu Olusegun, a 44-year-old commercial driver, who allegedly assaulted one Kareem Suni, by beating him up, was on Tuesday, arraigned in a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.   Olusegun, whose address was not given, is facing a charge of assault.   The prosecutor, Insp. Akpan Ikem, had told the court that the accused committed the offence at AP Bus Stop, Ibiye, Badagry.   He said the accused gave the complainant several fist-blows that caused him severe injuries, after a disagreement they had over money.   “There was an argument between the complainant and the accused, and the defendant started beating him mercilessly. Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole and his wife, Mrs. Lara Oshiomhole   A total of 335 foreign nationals were on Tuesday in Abuja granted citizenship by the Federal Government after statutory clearance and due diligence by the relevant security agencies.‎ ‎ The Minister of Interior, retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau,‎ who presented the certificates of citizenship to the foreigners, charged them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.   Mrs Iara Oshiomhole, the wife of former Governor of Edo, Adams Oshiomole‎, who is from Cape Verde, is one of the recipients.   Dambazau in his remarks said that 335 applicants were approved by the Federal Executive Council in January, out of the over 500 foreigners that applied.   He explained that 245 of the foreigners approved were granted Citizenship by‎ Naturalisation while 90 were by Registration, mainly foreign women married to Nigerians.   “Let me say that application for the Citizenship of Nigeria which can

Tony Anenih loses wife, son   The National Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commiserated with former Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees, Chief Tony Anenih, on the death of his wife and son.   In a condolence message by Mr Dayo Adeyeye, National Publicity Secretary of the committee, on Tuesday in Abuja, said it was heart-breaking for a man to lose wife and son within short intervals.   Mrs Patricia Anenih passed on at 74 in London on April 16. Anenih’s son, Mr Eugene Anenih, died on Sunday at the age of 51. Both are yet to be buried.   According to the statement, the party identifies with Anenih’s agony at this trying period.   Adeyeye said,  “your wife’s untiring support in an extremely busy and action packed political career cannot be overemphasised. Her departure must have left you with so much sorrow”. “We believe in your capacity to overcome these painful losses. May the Lord grant you and your family the fortitude to
