Transport Minister, Amaechi Hails Goodluck Jonathan During Town Hall Meeting

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday, commended the immediate past administration of ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan for embarking on massive projects that have been beneficial to Nigerians, according to DailyPost.
 
While speaking at a Town Hall meeting in Abuja, the former Rivers State governor said his Ministry did not meet any comatose project on assumption of office.
 
Instead, he announced that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration continued the projects of the previous administration because “We realised the impact of the recession.’’
 
Amaechi noted that the Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed by the Jonathan’s administration.
 
He said, “In the ministry of transportation, we did not meet anything comatose. We met an attempt to bring back our rail services.
 
“The Kaduna-Abuja railway was nearly 80% completed which we commissioned and commercial services have commenced.’’

The Late, Egheomhanre Eyieyien   A Nigerian politician has kicked the bucket two hours after making a confusing post on Facebook. The video which was uploaded on YouTube channel called PrankGenerator shows the host asking a lot of ladies in the street to show their boobs on camera for $100.      Although some were shy, they agreed but to their surprise, the money wasn't real and the whole thing was a set up prank. Dakingari, Ex Kebbi State Governor in Trouble as EFCC Arrest Him in Kano

  Former Governor of Kebbi State, Saidu Dakingari, has been arrested and detained by the Kano Zone of the EFCC.   The man is currently being quizzed for his alleged involvement in the sharing of N450 million PDP campaign slush fund.   He is also being asked to explain how another amount of N550 million state funds were diverted to his party, the PDP, during the 2015 presidential campaigns.   According to ThisDay, a statement made available on Thursday by media head of Kano Zone of EFCC, Mr Medard Ehimika, said Dakingari is cooperating with operatives in the investigations.   The statement said more details will emerge when more facts are available.
