Sibusiso Ngobese uses snakes to cure ailments   A South African man acclaimed for his ability to use snakes to heal people has revealed how he does it. Since he was six, Sibusiso Ngobese has been living with snakes around his neck and body.   Ngobese from Germiston, Ekurhuleni says:  “The snakes are my ancestors. I am a traditional healer who helps people using natural means. “I use my snakes instead of throwing the bones.”   In an interview with DailySun ZA, he said many people who visit him come back later with good news about his healing power. Nigeria Customs Service (File photo)   The Comptroller-General of Customs, Compliance Task Force, says it has impounded 223 vehicles, 13 of which belong to a senator in Kano State. The task force also said it seized other items, including foodstuff worth N269.5m in Kano and Jigawa states within eight months.   The Task Force Zonal Commander, Mr. Bala Dole, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria  in Kano on today (Monday). He said the vehicles belonging to the said senator were 12 new Toyota Hilux and one Land Cruiser Jeep. Dole, who declined to name the said senator, said the 13 vehicles were trailed from Maigatari in Jigawa, following an intelligence report.   “Based on the intelligence report, the vehicles were 30 in number, but we were able to trail 13 of them, 12 of which were hidden in the senator’s compound. “We sealed the house and retrieved the vehicles and they are now in our custody,”  Dole said.   He said the other items the t

Muslims performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia (File photo)   The death has been announced of Alhaji Bishir Babba-Kaita, the former Chairman of Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State.   A senior brother to the deceased, Alhaji Kabir Babba, made the announcement in Kankia on Monday. He said that his brother died in Saudi Arabia after performing the lesser hajj and was buried in the Holy Land in accordance with Islamic rites.   Until his death, Bishir was a Permanent Member, Katsina State Civil Service Commission.   He died at the age of 55 and is survived by two wives and seven children.   The deceased is a senior brother to the member representing Kankia/Kusada/Ingawa Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ahmad Babba.   -NAN
