Panic as Nigerians in India Reportedly Suffer Xenophobic Attacks

A Twitter user with the handle @fatimaaliu, in series of tweets, alleged that Indians are currently beating up black races, especially Africans.
 
In some of the tweets, she revealed that Nigerian students, in India, are currently being held and beating blue black, because an Indian boy got missing in the compound, where foreigners live. 
 
It should be noted that Nigerians in South Africa are also dealing with the bitter trend of xenophobia which takes place periodically.

Soldier Missing While Fighting Boko Haram in Borno Over a Year Has Been Confirmed Dead

Tijani died fighting Boko Haram insurgents   A man has shared touching stories and photos of his cousin who allegedly got missing and died during an attack by dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram.     Abdul Usman took to Facebook to pay his last respect to the fallen hero. He paid tribute to his late cousin by name Tijani aka TJ who served in the Nigerian Army.   Usman wrote:  "T.J all your friends and well wishers will always remember you because you died for their cause, you died for the liberation of your own people and your land against terrorists the invaders. Four students of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, have landed themselves in hot soup after attempting to resurrect the corpse of a 300-level student of Microbiology, Eniola Jacob. The late Eniola Jacob   The Ogun State Police Command has arrested four students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for attempting to exhume a corpse and resurrect a 300-level student of Microbiology, Eniola Jacob who allegedly committed suicide by drinking an insecticide, Sniper, last Saturday on the campus and died on Sunday after been rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba.   The police spokesperson said during Jacob’s burial, the four students suddenly emerged and asked that the corpse be exhumed.   It was gathered that the students who attempted to resurrect his corpse were leaders of the Cherubim and Seraphim Students Fellowship on the campus which Jacob was said to have been a strong member before his death.   According to ...

A new investigative research has shown that the Federal Government imposed illegal electricity tariff on Nigerians adding to the suffering of the poor masses.   The new increased electricity tariff rolled out on February 1 by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, was illegally imposed on consumers, an icirnigeria.org investigation has shown.   The power regulatory agency commenced with the new tariff, which increased charges for electricity consumption by 55 per cent to 65 per cent, in defiance of the law setting it up.   From all indications, the federal government might be forced to pay back to Nigerians the increased rate they have paid to electricity supply since February 1 when the new tariff regime took effect   Specifically, the announcement of the new tariffs breaches Section 76 sub sections 6, 7 and 9 of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act of 2005.   Section 76 (6) requires the NERC to gazette any rev...

Allah Farrad   A man Allah Farrad will be spending the next 15 and a half years of his life in a federal penitentiary because of a single Facebook post. BGR news reports that Farrad, born Marvin Buckles, was sentenced on Thursday to 188 months in a Tennessee federal prison following his 2015 conviction of being a felon in possession of a gun after an incriminating post was found on his Facebook timeline.
