Panic as Nigerians in India Reportedly Suffer Xenophobic Attacks

A Twitter user with the handle @fatimaaliu, in series of tweets, alleged that Indians are currently beating up black races, especially Africans.
 
In some of the tweets, she revealed that Nigerian students, in India, are currently being held and beating blue black, because an Indian boy got missing in the compound, where foreigners live. 
 
It should be noted that Nigerians in South Africa are also dealing with the bitter trend of xenophobia which takes place periodically.

Nigerian Army Recovers Heavy Arms and Ammunition in a Coffin at a Checkpoint (Photos)

Vigilant Nigerian soldiers intercepted some heavy arms and ammunition concealed in a coffin to beat security intelligence at an undisclosed part of Nigeria.   Facebook user, name Bello Abdulrasheed Afolabi shared a disturbing report of how the Nigerian troops stationed at a checkpoint nabbed some criminals involved in arms trafficking.   The weapons were concealed in a coffin as they pretended to be headed for a burial ceremony.   Read the words of the news poster:   "Ladies and gentle men of the house just take a look at what Army personal recovered yesterday on check points. Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. According to her, the fire immediately followed the sound of an eruption affecting the Agbada/Bomu trunk line.   "Goi, another Ogoni community, is on fire this early morning from an eruption on the 28-inch Agbada/Bomu trunkline belonging to Shell, which is just a few meters from the surveillance post. President Buhari   In a statement issued on Wednesday by Segun Adeyemi, the special adviser to Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, the President Buhari-led federal government has appointed Bayo Onanuga, editor-in-chief of TheNews, as the managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).   In all, six new chief executives have been appointed to replace those who were disengaged in some parastatals of the federal ministry of information and culture on February 15th 2016.   The new Chief Executives are:   1. Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido Thrown Into Prison

Former Governor, Sule Lamido   A Jigawa State Magistrate Court has on Tuesday, remanded a former governor of the state, Sule Lamido, in prison custody.   According to the Chief Magistrate Usman Lamin, Lamido will remain in Dutse prison until May 4 when applications for his bail will be decided.   The magistrate said he needed time to decide on the application for bail and another on the police’s First Investigation Report, FIR, brought as evidence in the case.   Lamido is being prosecuted by Ikenna Ekpunobi who obtained a fiat by the Jigawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Sani Gabbas.    The ex-governor is being prosecuted on a four-count charge of inciting disturbance contrary to section 114 of the Penal Code, disturbance of public peace contrary to section 113 of the Penal Code, defamation of character punishable under section 392 of the Penal Code and criminal intimidation punishable under section 397 of the P...
