Reports from the Sapele area of Delta State reveals a kidnap syndicate has lost big during a botched operation.
 
According to a social media user who shared the news, a four man kidnap gang tried to abduct the wife of one Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, but unfortunately for them police intercepted them.
 
Three escaped, while one was killed during exchange of fire with police at Ajamoghan, Warri close to a business centre she operates.
 
Nigeria is currently battling with the problem of kidnapping as aggravated by the limited economic opportunities in Nigeria

Man Beheads His Own Mom on Mother's Day

Josh Webb killed his mother   Police in Oregon say a man entered a grocery store over the weekend while carrying the severed head of his mother before allegedly stabbing a cashier seven times.   According to Inside Edition, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Josh Webb and charged him with murder and attempted murder after the horrific scene unfolded at the Estacada Thriftway outside Portland.   In a 911 call placed at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the caller reported a male had entered the store, soaked in blood and holding a knife and what looked like a human head.   Before the shock had a chance to register with witnesses, the scene somehow grew more terrifying as cops say the assailant stabbed a cashier multiple times with the bloody knife, according to KGW.    In a subsequent 911 call, a witness told the operator that employees had restrained the assailant and requested medical help for the victim.   Minut...

  The young mother, Nandini   The young mother identified as Nandini has given birth to a baby girl weighing a whopping 15lbs - the heaviest girl ever born in the world.   19-year-old Nandini, who goes only by her first name, welcomed her first child, a daughter, by caesarean section on Monday evening at a government-run hospital in Hassan in southern state Karnataka.   The average baby is born weighing 7.5lbs - making Nadini's newborn female twice the size.   Dr Venkatesh Raju, the local health officer, said: "In my 25 years of experience, I had never seen such a big baby.
