I Could Convince Wenger to Sign Iheanacho from Manchester City – Iwobi




Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has said he could influence a move for his international team-mate Kelechi Iheanacho, from Manchester City to the Emirates.
Iwobi however said although he wants the Gunners to go for the “funniest guy I know”, he is not sure a deal can happen soon.
“I tell you, you should see us [him and Iheanacho] on Snapchat! Always bantering,” Iwobi said.
“We’re roommates right now and he’s just the funniest guy I know. ‘We do get on well off the pitch as well as on the pitch.
“Maybe I can try to convince Arsenal to sign him – but I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
Iwobi shocked football fans, after a video of him speaking fluent Pidgin English was posted on Twitter by another team-mate Ogenyi Onazi.
The 20-year-old who grew up mostly in the UK, explained how he learned the language.
“Everyone could speak English, I’d get along fine, but they’d all say, “come on, you need to learn your language”. So yeah, I’ve learned a bit, which helps.
“When I first went I felt like I’m an alien! I know they used to take the mick out of me, and I didn’t know what they were saying. But now I can understand!”

8 Reported Killed and 15 Injured as Bomb Explosion Hits Motor Park

  We  reported few hours ago  that there was another bloodshed in the north-eastern part of Nigeria with members of the deadly Boko Haram sect fingered in a fatal attack.   The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disclosed on its Twitter page that a bomb exploded on Wednesday morning at a motor park in Borno state, adding that the explosion happened around Muna garage in Maiduguri, the capital of the state.     The agency disclosed further that at least eight people are reported to have died in the explosion while 15 injured persons were said to have been evacuated to Specialist and Teaching Hospitals in Maiduguri.   NEMA sayid emergency workers were en route to the scene of the bomb blast.

A request by the widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, Bianca, to re-open her evidence-in-chief, in the suit she filed against her husband’s family was, on Tuesday, granted by a Lagos High Court, Igbosere. Mrs. Ojukwu had, on behalf of her two under-aged children, Afamefuna and Nwachukwu (claimants), dragged Ojukwu Transport Limited (OTL) and seven others before the court over an alleged move by the family to eject her sons from the company’s property located in Lagos. The company (OTL) and its property belong to father of the late Biafra warlord. Other defendants in the suit are Prof Joseph Ojukwu, Engr. The re-emergence of lassa fever in Nigerian seems to get bolder as the disease spreads out to even more states across the federation.   Lassa fever has claimed two more lives in Plateau, the state government confirmed on Monday in Jos, the state capital.
