There is a new twist to the extradition plan by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to hand over the Senator Buruji Kashamu to United States authorities for drug related charges. FCT Police Arrest Fake Mad Man with Locally Made Pistol

A man arrested by the police with a locally made pistol and wraps of marijuana has surprised policemen by pretending to be mentally deranged.   The FCT Police Command said it had arrested a male suspect who pretended to be a lunatic on Jan. 20 around the Apo bridge.   Mr Wilson Inalegwu, the FCT Commissioner of Police, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on Monday in Abuja. Inalegwu said that the suspect was apprehended by a police patrol team on a stop-and-search duty, following a tip-off.   He said that when the Police operatives searched him, a locally made pistol and a polythene bag containing wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered from him.   He advised members of the public to always report any suspicious movement to the police. The commissioner said that the Apo Division was investigating the matter.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu   All Progressives Congress, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demanded the resignation of the national chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun who he claimed Sunday had derailed from the path of progressives.   In a stinking communiqué from his media office, Tinubu accused Oyegun of sabotaging the will of democracy in Ondo State by overriding the decision of the appeal panel that asked for a fresh governorship primary following investigations that showed that the delegates’ list used had been tampered with.
