A very young girl has made history since she was announced as the youngest person in the world to become a billionaire.   Alexandra Andresen   A horse rider from Norway has become the world's youngest billionaire after amassing a $1.2billion fortune at the age of just 19.   Forbes magazine has named Alexandra Andresen, a professional dressage competitor, on their list of people from around the world worth at least one billion dollars.   It is the first time the teenager and her sister Katharina, aged 20, have appeared on the list and they are ranked as the 1,475th richest people in the world.   Miss Andresen accumulated her personal fortune after her father Johan F. President Putin Orders Russians Living Abroad to Fly Back Home With Their Relatives

Russian President, Vladimir Putin   Russian politicians and high-ranking figures have reportedly received a warning from President Vladimir Putin to fly home their loved-ones and relatives living abroad to the  'Motherland' , amid heightened tensions over the prospect of global war.   According to the  Dailymail UK , administration staff, regional administrators, lawmakers of all levels and employees of public corporations have been ordered to take their children out of foreign schools immediately, adding that failure to act will see officials jeopardising their chances of promotion, local media has reported.   The exact reason for the order is not yet clear.   This development is coming after President Putin cancelled a planned visit to France amid a furious row over Moscow's role in the Syrian conflict.   Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has also warned that the world is at a  'dangerous point'  due to rising t...

Bomb Alert! Security Operatives Prevent Another Bomb Blast in Maiduguri

After the bomb explosion that rocked the people of the northeast by the dreaded terror group, Boko Haram, security operatives have just averted another bomb blast in Maiduguri.   Security operatives have demobilized materials suspected to be Improvised Explosive Devises (IED) planted near the office of the Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board in Maiduguri.   The Public Relations Officer of the Borno State Police Command, Mr Victor Isuku, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Monday.   He said that the IEDs, which were planted by people suspected to be members of the Boko Haram terror group were demobilized by a joint security team. “I can confirm that it was a joint police/military operation that demobilized the IEDs but thank God, no live was lost or injuries recorded,“ Isuku said.   NAN recalls that no fewer than 20 people were killed after three female suicide bombers detonated...
