When I was in primary school, I never knew the Nigerian national anthem was in English language.
Back then, it used to be like:

A Forte Oil filling station which belongs to Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Femi Otedola has been slammed with a staggering fine by the Kano state government.   A committee set up by Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, to prevent hoarding of petrol and selling above official rate, has fined a Forte Oil filling station in the state the sum of N4.2million, according to Premium Times. The state commissioner for Commerce, Rabiu Bako, who is the chairman of the committee, told a correspondent by phone that the station was fined for both hoarding of the product and selling above pump price at night. Mr. Bako said the stipulated penalty for a filling station found hiding petroleum products and selling above pump price was to make it pay fine by doubling the official pump price of their existing product. This startling photograph is acknowledged as one of the most horrifying photographs shot ever since the camera was invented. Notice the vulture waïting for the child to die. This photo was shot in 1994 and won the Pulitzer Prize. The location is Sudan, outside a UN warehouse for storing food and grain received as humanitarian aid. Nobody knows what happened to the child. But Kevin Carter broke down mentally after taking this picture and ultimately committed suicide within 3 months of taking this picture. Anti-Fur protesters crash Rihanna's new perfume launch in Brooklyn

Rihanna’s launch of her new perfume “RiRi” at a Macy’s in Brooklyn was crashed by anti-fur protesters on Monday. The animal rights activists noisily interrupted the event and slammed the singer for wearing fur before being removed by security. As you can see in the footage below, Macy’s security officers and members of Rihanna’s own security team got into a scuffle with protesters who chanted and held up anti-fur signs. The guards pulled down the demonstrators’ signs, which said such things as “Who Died For Your Coat?” and “Skinned Alive,” alongside images of dead and skinned animals. The picketers also repeatedly yelled “Shame on Rihanna” while marching through the department store. PETA previously slammed Rihanna in September 2012 after photos were released of the singer wearing snakeskin boots.
