STORY OF ADAMU, THE STUDENT-PILOT



✈Adamu, an airplane cleaner, *was cleaning the pilot's cockpit when he saw a book entitled, "HOW TO FLY AN Airplane FOR BEGINNERS.* FCC. Volume 1"

✈He opened the 1st page which said: *To start the engine, press the red button.* He did so, and the airplane engine started. He was happy, and opened the next page:

✈To set airplane moving, *press the blue button.* He did so and the plane started moving at an amazing speed.

✈He wanted to fly, so he opened the 3rd page which said: *To let airplane fly, please press the green button.* He did so and the plane started to fly. He was excited.

✈After 20 minutes of flying, he was satisfied and wanted to land so he decided to go to the 4th page. He fainted after reading the instructions.

*✈The 4th page said: To learn how to land a plane, please buy Volume 2 at the nearest bookshop.*

EFCC to Arraign Fani-Kayode, Ex-Minister for N1.5bn Fraud

Femi Fani Kayode   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is set to arraign a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode; a former Minister of Finance, Senator Nenadi Usman; a firm, Joint Trust Dimensions Limited; and one Jimoh Yusuf for an alleged N1.5bn fraud. The anti-graft commission will on Wednesday arraign a former Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Waripamowei Dudafa, for an alleged N1.6bn fraud. An impeccable source at the anti-graft agency told a correspondent that Fani-Kayode, Usman and Yusuf would be charged with 17 counts bordering on money laundering and fraud. The source added,  “We have filed charges against Fani-Kayode, Usman, Yusuf and a company, Joint Trust Dimensions Limited. Yusuf was the signatory to the account of Joint Trust Dimensions Limited. See How Much Each State Collected as Federal Allocation for the Month of July

President Muhammadu Buhari   The thirty-six states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have collected a whopping N673.324billion as their share of statutory allocation and first tranche of the excess crude earnings distribution for the period.   According to a report by ThisDay, a document from the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation titled:  "Distribution of Statutory Allocation and Excess Crude Proceeds to the three tiers of Government in July 2016"  showed that five of the states: Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Kano, catapulted themselves to the two-digits wrung with each carting home between N10 billion and N25 billion.   Similarly, Nasarawa and Ekiti States received N4.508 billion and N4.732 billion respectively.
