STORY OF ADAMU, THE STUDENT-PILOT



✈Adamu, an airplane cleaner, *was cleaning the pilot's cockpit when he saw a book entitled, "HOW TO FLY AN Airplane FOR BEGINNERS.* FCC. Volume 1"

✈He opened the 1st page which said: *To start the engine, press the red button.* He did so, and the airplane engine started. He was happy, and opened the next page:

✈To set airplane moving, *press the blue button.* He did so and the plane started moving at an amazing speed.

✈He wanted to fly, so he opened the 3rd page which said: *To let airplane fly, please press the green button.* He did so and the plane started to fly. He was excited.

✈After 20 minutes of flying, he was satisfied and wanted to land so he decided to go to the 4th page. He fainted after reading the instructions.

*✈The 4th page said: To learn how to land a plane, please buy Volume 2 at the nearest bookshop.*

Bomb Alert! Security Operatives Prevent Another Bomb Blast in Maiduguri

After the bomb explosion that rocked the people of the northeast by the dreaded terror group, Boko Haram, security operatives have just averted another bomb blast in Maiduguri.   Security operatives have demobilized materials suspected to be Improvised Explosive Devises (IED) planted near the office of the Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board in Maiduguri.   The Public Relations Officer of the Borno State Police Command, Mr Victor Isuku, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Monday.   He said that the IEDs, which were planted by people suspected to be members of the Boko Haram terror group were demobilized by a joint security team. “I can confirm that it was a joint police/military operation that demobilized the IEDs but thank God, no live was lost or injuries recorded,“ Isuku said.   NAN recalls that no fewer than 20 people were killed after three female suicide bombers detonated...

172 Nigerians Deported from Libya

Many Nigerians illegally living in Libya have been ejected from the country after being found guilty of overstaying their welcome. The Libyan Government Friday deported 172 Nigerians over several immigration irregularities according to the Nation. The deportees arrived the hajj camp area of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 7:00am comprising 166 males and six females. The Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, Mr. Ekpedeme King confirmed the deportation with a correspondent on phone, but could not give the registration number of the aircraft that brought them into the country. The deportees were repatriated into the country with chartered aircraft from Libya. The returnees were received by various agencies such as Immigration that checked their identities to ascertain their nationalities, Police, National Agency for Protection and Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, and other relevant stakeholders.
