STORY OF ADAMU, THE STUDENT-PILOT



✈Adamu, an airplane cleaner, *was cleaning the pilot's cockpit when he saw a book entitled, "HOW TO FLY AN Airplane FOR BEGINNERS.* FCC. Volume 1"

✈He opened the 1st page which said: *To start the engine, press the red button.* He did so, and the airplane engine started. He was happy, and opened the next page:

✈To set airplane moving, *press the blue button.* He did so and the plane started moving at an amazing speed.

✈He wanted to fly, so he opened the 3rd page which said: *To let airplane fly, please press the green button.* He did so and the plane started to fly. He was excited.

✈After 20 minutes of flying, he was satisfied and wanted to land so he decided to go to the 4th page. He fainted after reading the instructions.

*✈The 4th page said: To learn how to land a plane, please buy Volume 2 at the nearest bookshop.*

Gunmen Abducted Paramount Ruler’s Pregnant Wife

Chief Asuquo Abia, the Secretary, Traditional Rulers Council, Esit Eket, told NAN in Esit Eket on Saturday that the gunmen invaded the palace of the paramount ruler in the wee hours of Friday morning. No fewer than 10 unknown gunmen on Friday night kidnapped the pregnant wife of Ubong Assam, the paramount ruler of Esit Eket in Akwa Ibom. The gunmen also abducted the four children of the traditional ruler. Abia, who is also the Village Head of Afaha Akpenedi, said the gunmen shot sporadically for over five hours from 1.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. “The gunmen destroyed part of the palace with dynamites and broke into all the rooms and carted away valuables,’’ he said. He said the gunmen arrived at the palace on Thursday claiming to be policemen from Abuja on an investigation. “They later came back the next day around 1.30 a.m. and shot sporadically till 6 a.m. in the morning,’’ Abia said. The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo State has suffered a set back as two former commissioners, Local government Chairmen and two former Lawmakers defected to the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.    They claimed that over 5000 of former PDP chieftains dumped the ruling party for the opposition Party according to the Vanguard. Mohammed Arshad now a former police officer who r*ped one 14-year-old girl in the back of his Mercedes and sexually abused 11 others after grooming and persistently pestering them has been handed a hefty sentence for the crime. A fake INEC official was caught by Security operatives at a polling unit in Bayelsa during the supplementary guber elections in the state.   The above photo is a fake official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) who was arrested at Famgbe, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state by the Police yesterday. When properly interrogated by the police, the suspect admitted to being hired to help rig the election in the area. He also made confessional statement indicting some government officials.
