World's Shortest Couple Get Engaged After Eight Years of Love

The world's shortest couple in the world are finally engaged eight years after social media brought them together. 
 
 
The two, Katyucia Hoshino and Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros, from Brazil measure a combined five feet and eight inches. While Paulo is 30, Katyucia is 27 and both are deeply in love.
 
Dailymail reports that Katyucia and Paulo, who stand at 35.2 inches and 34.8 inches respectively, hope to enter the Guinness book of world records once they tie the knot - thus becoming the world's shortest married couple.
 
 
The title currently belongs to another Brazilian couple: 46-year-old Douglas Maistre Breger da Silva and 43-year-old Claudia Pereira Rocha. They measure 35 inches and 36 inches respectively and got married 18 years ago.
 
Their love story has been followed all over the world since they met on a social media website and started chatting on MSN Messenger.
 
 
Katyucia suffers achondroplasia dwarfism, a condition that affects bone growth. Speaking about their love life, she said: 'The first time I started talking to Paulo, he was really annoying. He had cheap-pick up lines,' Katyucia said.
 
 
Paulo, who works as a legal secretary, said: 'She thought I was trying to flirt but I was just being nice. According to her I was a really boring guy.'
 
The two are now engaged and will soon be married.

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have overpowered Forex fraudsters after giving a hot chase. Rapid Response Squad   The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Police Command, have arrested two suspected fraudsters who swindled a victim of his N10,000 and two mobile phones in Ojota area of the metropolis. Leadership reports that the suspects identified as Jerry Etiobho, from Edo State, and Emeka Ogu, from Imo State were said to have escaped from their victim identified as Lawan Muhammed but the squad gave them a hot pursuit and succeeded in arrested them. Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post.
