Goodluck Jonathan All Smiles as He Visits President Buhari

Former President Goodluck Jonathan met with President Muhammadu Buhari few hours ago at the president’s office in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

We had earlier reported that Jonathan arrived the Villa at exactly 2:00 pm and went straight to the president’s office.

President Buhari who had gone to the Villa Mosque straight from the council chamber where he presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, was reportedly observing his afternoon prayer at the Villa Mosque when Jonathan came calling.

The president came out immediately after the prayer to meet with Jonathan. This is the 4th time Jonathan is visiting his successor.

Image
On Friday, the internet went in frenzy buzing with mixed reactions and criticisms after President Muhammadu Buhari said his wife belonged in the kitchen, and  “the other room,”  apparently a euphemism for the bedroom.   Recall that the president made the above comment at a press conference after a closed-door meeting, with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, in response to an interview his wife, Aisha granted the BBC, where she said that his government had been hijacked, adding that she might not support her husband under the present circumstances if he seeks re-election in 2019.   Buhari in his reaction had stated;  “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but my wife belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room. “It is not easy to do away with opposition or people who did not follow you along your campaign trail. I hope my wife will remember that I was on the field for 12 years; I tried three times, the fourth time I ...

The family feud had reportedly been brewing for three years before spilling out. Grace Mwende accused Florence Nduku of insulting her through a chain of text messages after allegedly starting an intimate relationship with her husband, Daniel Mwongela, 61. Nduku is facing six counts of misusing a communication gadget. Some of the text messages received between July 12, 2013 and early 2015 referred to Mwende as an “old hag” who “could not satisfy the old man” and that she lost her “sweetness a long time ago,” thus it was her (Nduku’s) turn to enjoy the old man’s “honey.” She also reportedly insulted Mwende that she is a wi...
