The flood reportedly took over some streets in Kano following the heavy downpour yesterday August 5th.
 
No lives have been reported lost.

An artists took a really fatal step to show frustration when no one showed up to see his work on his most important day. Stuart Bennett   An artist, Stuart Bennett, has hanged himself after no one attended the launch of his new art project which he had spent a lot of time on. 58-year-old Bennett, organised an opening day at his studio because he wanted to start teaching art to children. However the event clashed with the town's horticultural show - and nobody came. He then hanged himself out of frustration. A cleaner discovered Mr Bennett's body at the studio on Palmerston Street, Bollington, at 4pm the next day, according to the Manchester Evening News.
