O my goodness, why do Nigerian like copying from thier leaders so fast, Honarable Yakubu Dogara the Speaker NASS  help us fine out the exact problem of this budget padding, knowing about the PADDING issues I start suspecting budget padding in my household.

There has been an uncovered attempts by some yet to be identified members of my household to pad my September household budget.

Areas where padding attempts were made includes but not limited to the followings.

1. Half of the money meant for yam and garri was diverted to indomie, cornflakes and shawarma.

2. The sum set aside for cleaning and laundry has been changed to purchase of diesel to power generator to watch Telemundo , Tom and Jerry and Zee world.

3. Monies for zogale, kuli kuli gari and charcoal have been tactically removed.

4. Estimates for contingency has been shifted to the vote for wonderland and millennium park weekend fun.

69-year-old Herbalist Marries 18-year-old Girl As 57th Wife in Enugu (Photos)

A man with an avid taste for having several women under his roof as wives, has married his 57th wife in Enugu.     The 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as number 57th wife.   According to Vanguard, the who hails from Enugu state, took the girl from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state, last November.   Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was however married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died. UPDATE: 13 People Killed & 8 Injured in Kano GSM Market Bomb Explosion...Details

Scores were feared killed as yet another bomb blast went off in Kano state hitting a popular market in the North-Eastern Nigerian city. Three persons have been confirmed dead after an explosion believed to be from a bomb went off at the GSM market in Kano, north-east Nigeria.  At least eight persons were also injured in the blast that occurred on Wednesday afternoon though details of the explosion is still sketchy. The General Manager, Operations at Channels TV, Kayode Akintemi took to his Twitter account to give more details on the bomb blast. Check on it below; The explosion occurred less than 24 hours after a bomb blast at a crowded park in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, left at least 34 persons dead while at least 80 others were injured.

Trouble for Tompolo as Court Grants EFCC Power to Seize His Assets

It is going to be a fierce battle as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have been charged by a court to confiscate properties belonging to Tompolo. Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo   A Federal High Court presided over by Justice Ibrahim Buba in Lagos has granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission the power to seize some assets belonging to a former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.   This order was given after Tompolo refused to appear before the court. Tompolo has been served court summons which he refused to honour. Bundles of Naira Notes Recovered by Police from INEC Officials Bribed During Rivers Elections

  According to SaharaReporters who shared the eye-popping photos on Twitter, the Nigerian Police Force's Inspector General's investigative committee have recovered stacks of bundles of Naira notes from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials who were allegedly bribed by Governor Nyesom Wike during the Rivers State rerun elections.   According to Sahara Reporters, the investigative committee of the Nigeria police on Tuesday, February 7, said the recovered money was given to the INEC officials as bribe by the Rivers state government. The chairman of the Police panel, DCP Damian Okoro allegedly disclosed that: "The sum total of N111.3 million was recovered from 23 electoral officials out of N360m." The teenager who was abducted from her Bayelsa home and moved to Kano for a forced marriage, has left Kano and is on her way to the police headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria's capital, Miss Ese Oruru   According to Rabilu Ringim, the spokesperson for the Zone 1 Police Command in Kano, Ese Oruru, the teenager who was abducted from her Bayelsa home and moved to Kano for a forced marriage to Yunusa Yellow, has left Kano by road at 6 a.m and on her way to the police headquarters in Abuja.   He disclosed that the team comprised of an assistant commissioner of police and other top ranking officers who were travelling under tight security.
