O my goodness, why do Nigerian like copying from thier leaders so fast, Honarable Yakubu Dogara the Speaker NASS  help us fine out the exact problem of this budget padding, knowing about the PADDING issues I start suspecting budget padding in my household.

There has been an uncovered attempts by some yet to be identified members of my household to pad my September household budget.

Areas where padding attempts were made includes but not limited to the followings.

1. Half of the money meant for yam and garri was diverted to indomie, cornflakes and shawarma.

2. The sum set aside for cleaning and laundry has been changed to purchase of diesel to power generator to watch Telemundo , Tom and Jerry and Zee world.

3. Monies for zogale, kuli kuli gari and charcoal have been tactically removed.

4. Estimates for contingency has been shifted to the vote for wonderland and millennium park weekend fun.

The video which was uploaded on YouTube channel called PrankGenerator shows the host asking a lot of ladies in the street to show their boobs on camera for $100.      Although some were shy, they agreed but to their surprise, the money wasn't real and the whole thing was a set up prank. SERAP Lists Key Questions Goodluck Jonathan 'Must Answer' Over $2.1bn Arms Deal Scandal

A transparency and watchdog group, SERAP, has made a list of questions former president Goodluck Jonathan must answer on the controversial arms deal scandal. Goodluck Jonathan   Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has sent an open letter to former President Goodluck Jonathan seeking explanations from him on “what you knew or had reason to know on the apparent diversion and sharing of over $2 billion meant for purchase of arms to fight Boko Haram.” The letter dated 8th January 2016 and signed by SERAP executive director Adetokunbo Mumuni reads in part:   “SERAP is sending you this open letter to seek explanations from you, as former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, on what you knew, or had reason to know on the apparent diversion and sharing of the over $2 billion meant to purchase arms to empower Nigerian soldiers to fight Boko Haram." “SERAP considers that there is enough material in the public d...

Hydro Plants Boost Electricity Generation to 3,686.3MW

  Nigeria has managed to attain electricity generation and supply of 3,686.3MW after several months of blackout occasioned by cut in gas supply to power plants. It was gathered that the improvement in power supply is as a result of high water level at dams, which enabled the three hydro power plants namely, Jebba (360mw), Shiroro (600mw) and Kanji (440mw) to operate at optimal capacity. This, notwithstanding, the country’s unutilised power generation due to gas constraint stood at 4,517mw, as at yesterday. Data from the current daily operational report of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), yesterday, showed, Kainji Hydro with 440mw installed capacity is currently generating 305mw, Jebba with installed capacity of 360mw is working at full capacity.
