O my goodness, why do Nigerian like copying from thier leaders so fast, Honarable Yakubu Dogara the Speaker NASS  help us fine out the exact problem of this budget padding, knowing about the PADDING issues I start suspecting budget padding in my household.

There has been an uncovered attempts by some yet to be identified members of my household to pad my September household budget.

Areas where padding attempts were made includes but not limited to the followings.

1. Half of the money meant for yam and garri was diverted to indomie, cornflakes and shawarma.

2. The sum set aside for cleaning and laundry has been changed to purchase of diesel to power generator to watch Telemundo , Tom and Jerry and Zee world.

3. Monies for zogale, kuli kuli gari and charcoal have been tactically removed.

4. Estimates for contingency has been shifted to the vote for wonderland and millennium park weekend fun.

Ex-Gov. Oshiomhole's Wife, Iara Granted Nigerian Citizenship

Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole and his wife, Mrs. Lara Oshiomhole   A total of 335 foreign nationals were on Tuesday in Abuja granted citizenship by the Federal Government after statutory clearance and due diligence by the relevant security agencies.‎ ‎ The Minister of Interior, retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau,‎ who presented the certificates of citizenship to the foreigners, charged them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.   Mrs Iara Oshiomhole, the wife of former Governor of Edo, Adams Oshiomole‎, who is from Cape Verde, is one of the recipients.   Dambazau in his remarks said that 335 applicants were approved by the Federal Executive Council in January, out of the over 500 foreigners that applied.   He explained that 245 of the foreigners approved were granted Citizenship by‎ Naturalisation while 90 were by Registration, mainly foreign women married to Nigerians.   “Let me say that application for the Citizensh...

EFCC to Invite Peter Obi Over $115m Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may soon invite erstwhile governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, over the $115 million Peter Obi    Allegedly received from former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, by  Fidelity Bank, according to Today News. .   But the anti-graft commission is reportedly seeking clarifications from his successor, Governor Willy Obiano. Sources at the EFCC noted that during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election, Alison-Madueke invited Nnamdi Okonkwo, Managing Director, Fidelity Bank, to help her handle some cash, which would be disbursed to electoral officials and groups. It was learnt that Okonkwo recently arrested by EFCC told his interrogators that he was under instructions from Obi, believed to be one of the owners of the bank, to go to Alison-Madueke’s residence in Abuja for a “financial transaction that could benefit the bank.” A source at the EFCC said ...
