O my goodness, why do Nigerian like copying from thier leaders so fast, Honarable Yakubu Dogara the Speaker NASS  help us fine out the exact problem of this budget padding, knowing about the PADDING issues I start suspecting budget padding in my household.

There has been an uncovered attempts by some yet to be identified members of my household to pad my September household budget.

Areas where padding attempts were made includes but not limited to the followings.

1. Half of the money meant for yam and garri was diverted to indomie, cornflakes and shawarma.

2. The sum set aside for cleaning and laundry has been changed to purchase of diesel to power generator to watch Telemundo , Tom and Jerry and Zee world.

3. Monies for zogale, kuli kuli gari and charcoal have been tactically removed.

4. Estimates for contingency has been shifted to the vote for wonderland and millennium park weekend fun.

Kashamu's Extradition: AGF, Senate, NDLEA Agree

There is a new twist to the extradition plan by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to hand over the Senator Buruji Kashamu to United States authorities for drug related charges. Senator Buruji Kashamu   The senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Buruji Kashamu, has received the backing of the the Senate, Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the authorities of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to halt his extradition plan to the United States.   This came after Kashamu’s lawyer, Ajibola Oluyede, had in a petition to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, claimed that NDLEA operatives had perfected strategies to forcefully take him to the US in order to answer drug related charges.   He had begged the Senate to mandate the both the NDLEA and the office of the Attorney-General to drop the alleged plan and follow the rule of law in prosecuting Kashamu.   Addressing...

Pregnant Secretary of Catholic Pope Francis Found Dead in Her Rome Apartment

A Secretary of the Catholic World Leader, Pope Francis, who was also pregnant has been found dead right inside her room in Rome.     Miriam Wuolou, the Pope's pregnant receptionist was found dead in her apartment on the outskirts of the city.   Wuolou, a 34-year-old of Eritrean origin, was seven-months pregnant when her body was discovered. She had worked at Pope Francis' home and a priests' guesthouse called Santa Marta for years.   The Italian press reports she worked as a kind of gatekeeper for the Pontiff, as well as for the bishops and cardinals who stay there.   The Pope opted to live at the Santa Marta guesthouse after his appointment in 2013, rejecting the grand papal apartments because he found them too sumptuous and he feared isolation.   Ms Wuolou had a serious kind of diabetes which had led doctors to warn her pregnancy was at risk.   Police are investigating a case of neglect and have interviewed f...

International media giant, Cable News Network has alleged that the embattled Ali Modu Sheriff is the founder of the rampaging Boko Haram sect that has threatened the security in Nigeria. Ali Modu Sheriff   CNN reported the appointment of former Borno state governor, Ali Modu Sheriff as Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in a rather awkward manner describing him as the founder of Boko Haram which the politician has denied severally.     Sheriff has been widely accused of having a close relationship with the late leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf during his 8-year tenure as the governor of the war-torn Borno state.   This revelation by CNN may confirm recent claims by Femi Fani Kayode that Sheriff has strong ties to the terrorist group that has killed over 20,000 Nigerians since 2009.

Drama as Worker Brutally Stabs Colleague to Death Over Girlfriend

A man has brutally stabbed his office colleague to death during a fight over his girlfriend during office hours. Two men fighting (Photo:File)   A 25-year-old casual worker, Raphael Nwoye, on Tuesday went berserk and stabbed 33-year-old colleague, Ifeanyi Onuoha, to death for insulting his lover, and injuring two others who tried to make peace. The ugly incident happened in the Ajao Estate area of Lagos State.   According to reports, the 33-year-old Onuoha died because of stab injuries to his neck and back. It was gathered that Nwoye killed Onuoha for allegedly insulting and being rude to his lover, identified as Ngozi. It was gathered that the duo of Onuoha and Nwoye had quarrelled last week over the same matter. The Naira has continued in its speedy recovery against the dollar in the parallel market as customers are beginning to adapt to the economic realities.     Foreign currency speculators, who launched an unprecedented attack against the naira in the last two weeks, got their fingers burnt on Tuesday when the nation’s currency staged a major recovery, rising to N310 to a dollar at the close of business, compared to N375 at which it sold on Monday. The naira fell to an all-time low of about N400 to a dollar on the parallel market last week fuelling concerns that it would plummet further to N450-N500/$ this week.
