Suspected kidnappers on Saturday abducted and killed the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State.   According to family sources who spoke to PremiumTimes on Saturday, the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area, Hosea Azi was kidnapped on Friday evening along Miango road, in Kufang, near former NYSC Secretariat in Jos South Local Government Area of the state. The ongoing trial of former NIMASA Director-General Patrick Akpobolokemi over the misappropriation of government funds has continued to reveal mind-boggling revelations. Patrick Akpobolokemi A prosecution witness, Mr Emeka Emelano, Tuesday told the Federal High Court in Lagos that he did not ask why the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) paid his company N72million even though it did not bid for any contract, the Nation reports. He claimed he also did not benefit from the payments, as he transferred the money to ‘others’ accounts as he was instructed. Emenalo, sole proprietor of O2 Services Plus Nig.
