Residents Find Couple Dead on their Farm in Ebony

The body of a 36-year-old man identified as Ani Chijioke who went to the farm with his wife, has been found dangling from a tree in his farm, with his wife, Ngozi Chijioke's corpse nearby in a pool of blood and marks of violence all over her in Mgbaleze Isu community in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
 
According to Vanguard, the deceased and his wife had left for the farm but did not return home, and it propmpted a search party sent out by the community, only for them to discover their bodies in the farm.
 
A resident of the community, Chief Sylvanus Ani, revealed that the couple was seen last on their way to the farm. 

“They went to the farm and did not return home. At some point, we were disturbed so we informed other villagers, mobilised and went in search of them. 

“We finally found the wife, Ngozi , lying dead in a pool of blood with marks of violence all over her body, while Chijioke Ani, was found hanging from a tree,” he said. 
 
The Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP George Okafor, confirmed the incident, saying the man may have killed the wife and hanged himself. 
 
He assured that police would get to the root of the incident, as investigation had commenced.

Puleng Mnisi was brutally murdered by the husband   A jealous husband has killed his wife before jumping to his death. The man identified as Reuben Mnisi allegedly killed his wife, Puleng Mnisi during an argument.    According to  Daily Sun , the man later threw himself off a crane and plunged 40 metres to his death.    Narrating the incident, Puleng’s mother, Susan Mahlatse (60), from Sebokeng in the Vaal, said Reuben (42) and Puleng (35) lived in the same kasi and both worked at a mine.    Susan said on Friday Puleng arrived at work for the night shift and Reuben was about to go home.
