Residents Find Couple Dead on their Farm in Ebony

The body of a 36-year-old man identified as Ani Chijioke who went to the farm with his wife, has been found dangling from a tree in his farm, with his wife, Ngozi Chijioke's corpse nearby in a pool of blood and marks of violence all over her in Mgbaleze Isu community in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
 
According to Vanguard, the deceased and his wife had left for the farm but did not return home, and it propmpted a search party sent out by the community, only for them to discover their bodies in the farm.
 
A resident of the community, Chief Sylvanus Ani, revealed that the couple was seen last on their way to the farm. 

“They went to the farm and did not return home. At some point, we were disturbed so we informed other villagers, mobilised and went in search of them. 

“We finally found the wife, Ngozi , lying dead in a pool of blood with marks of violence all over her body, while Chijioke Ani, was found hanging from a tree,” he said. 
 
The Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP George Okafor, confirmed the incident, saying the man may have killed the wife and hanged himself. 
 
He assured that police would get to the root of the incident, as investigation had commenced.

How Nigerian Air Force Wasted Arepo Militants in Ogun (Shocking Video)

  In a video posted on Twitter, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the footage of its latest raid and aerial attack on the base of militants in the Arepo area of Ogun state in an operation which was code-named ‘Operation Awatse’.   The video clip showed two aircraft hovering over a militant camp, which had at least 15 armed men. About five boats were seen beside some makeshift tents in the camp. Soldier Missing While Fighting Boko Haram in Borno Over a Year Has Been Confirmed Dead

Tijani died fighting Boko Haram insurgents   A man has shared touching stories and photos of his cousin who allegedly got missing and died during an attack by dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram.     Abdul Usman took to Facebook to pay his last respect to the fallen hero.
