If we Dont Treat our own President with Respect how Would the International Community Treat or Respect him by JJ Otukpo

My mother told me a story long time ago before I came to Azare .. my mother worked in the bank, 1st Bank  to be precise, she was the head of her department. 

One day my Grandmother, came to visit her in the bank.. My Garndmother was dressed to got the market not the bank. 

She was well presented, however she went over to visit my mother, when she came to the office, looking almost like a beggar my mother was very upset about her appearance but rather than showing it, she left her desk and came straight to the door, in full view of everybody in the bank, she knelt down to greet and receive my grandmother, when she did so, other workers left their desk to kneel and greet my grandmother.. 

My grand mother wore old clothes to visit the market ( not to dress flashy) but she branched to see her daughter .. she was treated like a beggar, till someone humbly gave her due respect .. 

My grandmother left the bank with the escort of a bank driver to drop her home..  

If we dont treat our own president with the respect of the office he occupy's, how would the international community treat or respect him or Nigeria or Nigerians ?????

Ekweremadu Will be Replaced by Uwajumogu as Deputy Senate President - Okorocha

Okorocha & Ike Ekweremadu   While speaking on Sunday night at a victory party to celebrate the outcome of the July 23, 2016 rerun election in two constituencies, the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, said that Senator Ike Ekweremadu should be warming up to lose his seat as the Deputy Senate President.   The governor who is speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, said a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Benjamin Uwajumogu, who contested in last Saturday rerun senatorial election in Imo State, would displace Ekweremadu as soon as he joins the Senate.   According to a report on  Punch Newspaper , he said it would be an aberration for Ekweremadu to still continue to retain his seat as the Deputy Senate President, after Uwajumogu had joined the Senate, adding that with the outcome of the rerun election, Ekweremadu’s seat had come under  “heavy threat.”   The governor who said that Ekweremadu kne...

PDP Deputy National Chairman, Uche Secondus, is in serious trouble after he collected 23 luxury cars for political favours, as the EFCC insists he must return the value of the cars totaling N310 million. PDP Deputy National Chairman, Uche Secondus   Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy National Chairman Uche Secondus might still spend more time in detention after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission refused his offer to return 23 luxury cars he got from a business associate of the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) asked Secondus to refund to the Federal Government N310 million, being the worth of the vehicles.
