Protesting Indigenes Took Over Chevron Premises and Held Church Service There (Photos)

The indigenes allegedly held non-denominational church service on the premises of Chevron
 
Angry protesters have stormed Chevron Tank Farm in Escravos, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State and held a non-denominational church service there.
 
 
The indigenes of Ugborodo community have been protesting for days over the non-recognition of Ugborodo Interim Management Committee by oil firms operating in the area and decided to make their grievances known with the unusual protest.
 
 
Meanwhile, some leaders of the community are also expected to hold a peace meeting with the state government, the Department of State Services and the Police towards resolving the issues that led to the protest.

The girls were tricked into flashing their breasts for $100    A prankster has shared hilarious video of girls flashing their boobs for $100. The video which was uploaded on YouTube channel called PrankGenerator shows the host asking a lot of ladies in the street to show their boobs on camera for $100.      Although some were shy, they agreed but to their surprise, the money wasn't real and the whole thing was a set up prank. Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured    Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari   Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage.   It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th.   CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012.   It is an honour well deserved.   See more photos below:

Tanker Filled With Fuel Explodes on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

  The tanker exploded around Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State.   Many people have been feared killed and several others trapped in the incident.   The explosion which occurred at about 1am on Wednesday was said to have affected mostly residents who went to scoop petrol from a fallen tanker.   It was gathered that the explosion resulted to heavy gridlock on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, forcing people to flee their vehicles.   The Nation reports that many vehicles were engulfed by the fire.   More details later.
