Nnamdi Kanu Begs UK Government to Intervene on His Behalf as a British Citizen

Radio Biafra founder, Nnamdi Kanu has urged the UK government to compel president Muhammadu Buhari to release him as his detention violates his fundamental human rights.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, has urged the British Government ‎to intervene in his case by compelling President Muhammadu Buhari to release him from prison. 
 
Kanu insisted that he is a victim of gross human rights violation and miscarriage of justice. In a letter dated March 24 and addressed to the British High Commissioner in Abuja by his lawyer said that the President Buhari-led administration ‎has violently abused his fundamental human rights through his prolonged detention in prison custody.
 
Kanu said he was ready to answer to the charge ‎against him but said that he does not believe the Nigerian government would afford him fair trial following comments made by the president in recent times. Kanu said as a British citizen, his continuous detention in custody violates his fundamental human rights.
 
Kanu who is facing treason charge alongside ‎two other pro-Biafra agitators, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, approached the British government through his lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

A university lover boy has brutally stabbed his schoolmate to death during a fight over a girl after bumping into each other in the girl's room. A dark cloud hovered above students of a department in the popular Polytechnic of Ibadan with several lives lost in a fatal road accident. The vehicle conveying the students    A ghastly motor accident has claimed the lives of 14 students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan according to wide reports from the students of the school. The accident occurred at about 6pm on Monday, 8th of January along Oyo/Ibadan Expressway. Mother Banned From Facebook After Posting this Photo

The photo Wanosik posted that led to her ban   A mother-of-six is fuming after her Facebook account was suspended because she posted a picture of her breastfeeding a stranger's baby.   According to  The Sun , Rebecca Wanosik, from Missouri in the US, was asked by a friend if she could feed the infant because the baby’s mother was in surgery and the baby was refusing a bottle.   She wrote:  “When the baby arrived you could tell she was hungry and exhausted and just needed some milk. I did what I hope any person would do for my child in a time of despair.
