Bassey Has Been Evicted from #BBNaija House (Watch Video)

After spending many weeks in the Big Brother Naija house, Bassey has been evicted from the game on Sunday. Last week, Bassey was nominated by his fellow housemates alongside Debbie Rise, Bally and TBoss.
 
Debbie Rise and Bally were saved as they got higher votes while the contest to stay was between TBoss and Bassey. At the end of it all, muscle-man Bassey left the house elated as he got the lowest votes. TBoss was saved from eviction.
 
Guitar girl, Debbie Rise couldn't stop crying after realizing that Bassey has been evicted. The remaining housemates in the house are - Efe, Mavis, Bally, TBoss, Bisola and Debbie Rise.

Dino Melaye Didn't Graduate from ABU - Sahara Reporter's Publisher Maintains Stand

    One Isiaq Yusuf, popularly called I.G. Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido Thrown Into Prison

Former Governor, Sule Lamido   A Jigawa State Magistrate Court has on Tuesday, remanded a former governor of the state, Sule Lamido, in prison custody.   According to the Chief Magistrate Usman Lamin, Lamido will remain in Dutse prison until May 4 when applications for his bail will be decided.   The magistrate said he needed time to decide on the application for bail and another on the police’s First Investigation Report, FIR, brought as evidence in the case.   Lamido is being prosecuted by Ikenna Ekpunobi who obtained a fiat by the Jigawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Sani Gabbas.    The ex-governor is being prosecuted on a four-count charge of inciting disturbance contrary to section 114 of the Penal Code, disturbance of public peace contrary to section 113 of the Penal Code, defamation of character punishable under section 392 of the Penal Code and criminal intimidation punishable under section 397 of the P...

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Sheriff, and the National Caretaker Committee of the party, led by Senator Ahmed Makarfi have resumed their verbal war. Recall that Sheriff and Makarfi had on Thursday signed a cease fire dea lwith the PDP National Reconciliation Committee, led by Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson. In a statement on Sunday his deputy, Dr Cairo Ojoughoh, Sheriff said the job vacancies declared by his camp ‎were to fill positions in the party’s National Secretariat as the old staff decided to abandon their work even when he appealed to them.
