Two children lost their lives as a result of severe heat and inadequate oxygen in Keffi, Nasarawa State over the weekend after they accidentally locked themselves inside a hot car.
 
It was a saddening moment in the north-central area of Nigeria as their parents wept bitterly amid a sombre mood in the neigbhourhood.
 
 
Hausa news platform Rariya, shared the news and pictures saying:
 
"Hotunan Yaran Da Suka Rasa Ransu A Garin Keffi Jihar Nassarawa Sakamakon Zafin Mota, Bayan Sun Rufe Kansu A Cikin Motar Ba Tare Da Kowa Ya Sani Ba"

ISIS May Attack Nigeria Soon - Expert Raises Alarm

An expert has called on the Federal Government to put security measures in place to forestall possible attacks by ISIS on Nigeria.   A security expert, Ona Ekhomu has raised an alarm concerning a terror attack that is about to happen in Nigeria.   According to the Punch, Ekhomu implored the federal government to take issues of tackling insurgency in the country very serious.     The expert said rather that wait for the attack to occur just like it recently did in Paris, France, the federal government should call on Nigerians who can help forestall it.   Ekhomu, who is the President of the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operators of Nigeria, in a statement on Monday, said recent intelligence intercepts indicated that an ISIS attack on Nigeria was imminent.   He said:  “ISIS could use its Nigerian affiliate, Boko Haram, to wreak havoc here in order to signal its capability to carry out worldwide terroris...

Yaya Toure has beaten Yacine Brahimi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew and Sadio Mane to the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2015 award.   The BBC has announced on their website on Friday after weeks of voting that 32-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder, Yaya Toure, has become only the third player, after Nigeria's Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha, to receive the honour twice.   Yaya Toure beat Yacine Brahimi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew and Sadio Mane to the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2015 award.   Toure told BBC Sport; "I am very proud.
