One of the late kids

Two children lost their lives as a result of severe heat and inadequate oxygen in Keffi, Nasarawa State over the weekend after they accidentally locked themselves inside a hot car.

It was a saddening moment in the north-central area of Nigeria as their parents wept bitterly amid a sombre mood in the neigbhourhood.

Hausa news platform Rariya, shared the news and pictures saying:

"Hotunan Yaran Da Suka Rasa Ransu A Garin Keffi Jihar Nassarawa Sakamakon Zafin Mota, Bayan Sun Rufe Kansu A Cikin Motar Ba Tare Da Kowa Ya Sani Ba"

The alleged Niger Delta militant killed by the Army on Friday This is the photos of a Niger Delta militant killed by the Nigerian Army in Bakassi, Cross River State during a gun battle on Friday. The Army had reported that its troops at the early hours of Friday, repelled an attack on its soldiers by killing seven armed militants at Efut Esighi in Bakassi local government area of Cross River State. A statue of Jesus in Korea is causing a lot of reaction on social media because of its unusual depiction of the Christ. This photo above has caused ripples online after it emerged recently. The cause of reaction is the unsually muscular depiction of Jesus. Many internet users have argued that if Jesus Christ was that huge, he would probably not have been crucified at all. In fact, many opined that the opposite would have been the case as Jesus would have been the one crushing the people with his strength. The photo was shared by an IMGUR user by the username, Geekologie. He said: "This is a Korean crucifix featuring a very muscular Jesus. I'm not entirely sure where it's located, but presumably outside the Church of Gains. Honestly, if Jesus really did look like that there probably never would have been a crucifixion, just 'the day Jesus killed all the Romans swinging a cross.'"

Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage. It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th. CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012. It is an honour well deserved. See more photos below:
