Ex-Beauty Queen, Agbani Darego, has Tied the Knot with her Longtime Lover, Ishaya Danjuma

Former Miss World, Agbani Darego, has taken to her Instagram page to share the official photo from her wedding, which took place on Saturday, April 8.

 

The first native African to win Miss World, who shared the good news on social media, did not reveal the full identity of her husband, but many online users identified him simply as Ishaya Danjuma, who is the son of General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma.

 

According to reports the fashion entrepreneur got married at the popular Amanjena luxury resort in Marrakech, Morocco, where Agbani was seen wearing a classic sheath wedding dress with a stunning low back, while Ishaya wore a classic grey suit.

 

Recall that in 2001, Darego was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. A few months later she was a contestant at Miss Universe, and became the first Nigerian to place among the top 10 semi-finalists, finishing seventh overall. She was the only one to wear a maillot as opposed to a bikini during the swimsuit competition.

 

In November that year, she became the first native African to claim the Miss World title (Although past winners such as Penelope Coelen and Anneline Kriel are South African, they are of European descent, and Antigone Costanda, who represented Egypt in 1954 is of Greek heritage).

 

Darego's victory was widely welcomed in her home country, and her one-year tenure included goodwill trips and scheduled appearances on behalf of the pageant, and a national honour of MFR.

A pregnant woman has been spotted in a Lagos town working as a bus conductor in spite of her condition.   The woman in the picture is a pregant woman who was spotted working as a bus conductor today at Ajah, Lagos.   As she hustled up and down to get passengers, a man, who took the pictures, asked her if she was truly pregnant. Chinese Woman Sent to Prison After Setting Lagos Hotel Ablaze to Kill Lover
