See the Notorious and Deadly Kidnappers Arrested in Abia

A kidnap victim, Duru Christopher has been rescued by men of the Abia State Police Command attached to the Ndiegoro Divison who was reportedly kidnapped on the March 17, 2017 by unknown armed men. 
 
The police also arrested Chiemezie Ezeigbo (aka Landlord) and Emeka Ukaegbu (aka Small pin) - the notorious kidnappers who were keeping guard over the hostage. A police source in Aba said Christopher was rescued following a tipoff on where the suspects kept him while waiting for the payment of ransom.
 
It was gathered that one Julius Nnachi, who hails from Edda in Ebonyi State, was also arrested by the operatives in connection with the crime.
 
Items recovered from the suspects were the victim’s Toyota Sienna car with registration number UMA 623 JU, one pump action rifle, one English-made pistol, seven live cartridges, one 9mm live ammunition and five mobile phones.
 
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Adeleye Oyebade, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, stated that they had been identified as having a link with the murder of four members of the Abia State Vigilante Group, who were shot on February 27, 2017.

Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. Police Nabs Lagos Fraudsters Who Defrauded Forex Trader After a Hot Chase

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have overpowered Forex fraudsters after giving a hot chase. Rapid Response Squad   The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Police Command, have arrested two suspected fraudsters who swindled a victim of his N10,000 and two mobile phones in Ojota area of the metropolis. Leadership reports that the suspects identified as Jerry Etiobho, from Edo State, and Emeka Ogu, from Imo State were said to have escaped from their victim identified as Lawan Muhammed but the squad gave them a hot pursuit and succeeded in arrested them. According to the police, the suspects had accosted Lawan Muhammed on Saturday, November 21, 2015, around Ojota, pretending to be seeking his assistance. ISIS May Attack Nigeria Soon - Expert Raises Alarm

An expert has called on the Federal Government to put security measures in place to forestall possible attacks by ISIS on Nigeria.   A security expert, Ona Ekhomu has raised an alarm concerning a terror attack that is about to happen in Nigeria.   According to the Punch, Ekhomu implored the federal government to take issues of tackling insurgency in the country very serious.     The expert said rather that wait for the attack to occur just like it recently did in Paris, France, the federal government should call on Nigerians who can help forestall it.   Ekhomu, who is the President of the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operators of Nigeria, in a statement on Monday, said recent intelligence intercepts indicated that an ISIS attack on Nigeria was imminent.   He said:  “ISIS could use its Nigerian affiliate, Boko Haram, to wreak havoc here in order to signal its capability to carry out worldwide terroris...
