PDP Crisis: Ali Modu Sheriff Speaks on Alleged Plan to Suspend Former President

 
 
The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff said the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has no plans to suspend some of its bigwigs including former President Goodluck Jonathan as being speculated.
 
He said his regime would not condone impunity and indiscipline in whatever guise, but work towards re-defining the party and giving hope to the ordinary Nigerians. 
 
Speaking through his deputy, Cairo Ojougboh in a telephone interview with Daily Trust last night, the PDP chief said he loves the party and does not wish that its members defect to other political parties.
 
“We are very particular about the interest of our party. We love the PDP and we are also aware that politics is a game of numbers.
 
“We shall not make the mistake of allowing people leave the party if we can help it but at the same time we shall not condone indiscipline.
 
"We have left the door open for all as we fight to re-position the party,” he said

Professor Ade Ajayi’s book on Crowther, source of this letter   Ajayi Crowther was ordained as the first African bishop of the Anglican Church. However, his background was rough. He was 12 years old when he was captured, along with his mother and toddler brother and other family members, along with his entire village, by Muslim Fulani slave raiders in 1821 and sold to Portuguese slave traders. Josh Webb killed his mother   Police in Oregon say a man entered a grocery store over the weekend while carrying the severed head of his mother before allegedly stabbing a cashier seven times.   According to Inside Edition, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Josh Webb and charged him with murder and attempted murder after the horrific scene unfolded at the Estacada Thriftway outside Portland.   In a 911 call placed at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the caller reported a male had entered the store, soaked in blood and holding a knife and what looked like a human head.   Before the shock had a chance to register with witnesses, the scene somehow grew more terrifying as cops say the assailant stabbed a cashier multiple times with the bloody knife, according to KGW.    In a subsequent 911 call, a witness told the operator that employees had restrained the assailant and requested medical help for the victim.   Minutes later, a 911 call came from
