Dangote Opens One-stop Shop In Onitsha

One of Nigeria's most successful conglomerates, the Dangote Plc, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Bontus Group of Companies based in Onitsha for the supply and distribution of all Dangote products in the commercial city.
 
Director in charge of Dangote in the South East, Mr. Tunde Mabogunje signed for his company, while the chairman of Bontus Group, Chief Uche Okafor, signed for his company.
 
Okafor said at the signing ceremony that with the agreement, all Dangote products, including sugar, cement, noodles, rice and tomato, would soon flood the eastern part of the country at very competitive prizes.
 
The South East director of Dangote, Mr. Mabogunje, said in addition to sugar, salt, cement and other products, his company would launch its brand of rice before December 2017, just as Dangote tomato would soon be in the market

UK has revealed that it is in constant communication with the director of Radio Biafra who is being held in connection to treasonable charges by the Nigerian government. Nnamdi Kanu A spokesman for the British High Commission, Mr. Joe Abuku, said this in an email sent to PUNCH correspondent on Friday. Abuku said this in response to an email regarding Kanu’s letter to the High Commission. The vehicle conveying the students    A ghastly motor accident has claimed the lives of 14 students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan according to wide reports from the students of the school. The accident occurred at about 6pm on Monday, 8th of January along Oyo/Ibadan Expressway. Niger Delta Avengers   Speaking with newsmen on Thursday, the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Delta, Commodore Joseph Dzunve, has disclosed that the suspected serial pipeline vandal and strike force leader of the Niger Delta Avengers was been arrested by the Nigerian Navy around Sapele Council Area of Delta State.   According to the commander, the suspect identified as Abraham Suru also known as Gabon from Ondo State, was arrested weeks after he had been declared wanted by the Nigerian military for being responsible incessant attacks on oil and gas facilities within Warri North and South-West Council Areas of the state.   Commodore Dzunve who said the suspect was arrested Tuesday 20 September, 2016 around Sapele where he had been hiding, noted that Gabon’s arrest was part of intense efforts by the Navy through the Operation Delta Safe (ODS) to flush out militants and other criminal elements from the region.   According to  Punch Newspaper...
