How Efe Won #BBNaija on Sunday (Watch Video)

Housemate, Efe secured 57.61 per cent of votes to emerge winner of the 2017 Big Brother Naija ‘See Goobe’ reality TV show on Sunday.
 
The Warri-born up and coming rap artist beat Bisola, who became the 1st runner up with 18.54 per cent of the vote at the grand finale.
 
Tboss scored 13.60 per cent to emerge the 2nd runner up; Debie-Rise 8.78 per cent, 3rd runner up while Marvis scored 1.47 per cent. Efe was given a brand new Kia Sorento SUV and N25 million naira cash prize. Efe who had never failed to stress that he was real was nominated for eviction in January and March but survived.
 
The Economics graduate had stressed that his humility, simplicity and being real would make him win the hearts of viewers. His emergence came after Marvis, Debie-Rise and Tboss were evicted during the grand finale.
 
Efe who was Marvis’ love interest in the house said in spite of the attraction between them, he was careful not to do anything that could jeopardise his stay in the house. He was Head of House once and had been very active in most games and tasks in the Big Brother House.
 
 
He had actively participated in the ONE Campaign song, the video shoot, drama and others. He had always been delight of the party during the usual Saturday night party in the house. Efe, during Davido’s visit said if he won the grand prize, he would use it to push his music career to the next level
 
Earlier in the run-up to his announcement, Bisola, was announced the winner of the One Campaign. Bisola’s winning the One Campaign appeared to be an anti-climax. The One campaign will make Bisola represent Nigeria at the United Nations later.
 
High point of the grand finale was musical performances by Tiwa Savage, Emmy Gee featuring AB Crazy and 2face Idibia.

The alleged Niger Delta militant killed by the Army on Friday   This is the photos of a Niger Delta militant killed by the Nigerian Army in Bakassi, Cross River State during a gun battle on Friday.   The Army had reported that its troops at the early hours of Friday, repelled an attack on its soldiers by killing seven armed militants at Efut Esighi in Bakassi local government area of Cross River State.     Capt. Kayode Owolabi, Army Public Relations Officer who disclosed this to newsmen on Friday in Calabar, said the militants attacked the Army post in Efut Esighi.       Owolabi linked the militants to be `boys’ of the most wanted militant leader, Benjamin Ene a.k.a `G1’, who has been on the wanted list of security agencies in the state.

A statue of Jesus in Korea is causing a lot of reaction on social media because of its unusual depiction of the Christ.     This photo above has caused ripples online after it emerged recently.   The cause of reaction is the unsually muscular depiction of Jesus. Many internet users have argued that if Jesus Christ was that huge, he would probably not have been crucified at all. In fact, many opined that the opposite would have been the case as Jesus would have been the one crushing the people with his strength.   The photo was shared by an IMGUR user by the username, Geekologie.   He said:  "This is a Korean crucifix featuring a very muscular Jesus. I'm not entirely sure where it's located, but presumably outside the Church of Gains. Honestly, if Jesus really did look like that there probably never would have been a crucifixion, just 'the day Jesus killed all the Romans swinging a cross.'"

Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured    Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari   Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage.   It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th.   CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012.   It is an honour well deserved.   See more photos below:
