Fulani herdsmen in Bayelsa, Yenagoa killed a big python which could have harmed their animals or other persons as they grazed in the thick bush.
 
The picture of the wild animal was displayed for public view after being killed.

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her football coach.

Mfreke Effiong clubbed his father to death with a stick A disagreement between a husband and wife has led to the murder of the husband by the 25-year-old son, Mfreke Effiong, from Ikot Akpainyang Asutan village, in Ibesikpo/Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
