Corps Members Stage Protest Over the Postponement of Batch A Stream II (Photos)

Following the sudden postponement and delay of the Batch A, Stream II orientation course by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), angry prospective corps members have taken to the street to express their annoyance in Lagos.
 
The prospective corps members have expressed sadness over the announcement as they said their family members and people have began doubting if they actually passed through the university to be mobilized for service because of the recent postponement.
 
 
NYSC had announced the postponement of the Orientation Course which was initially slated for May 21st, 2016 to a yet to be determined date. The announcement did not go down well with some of the prospective candidates who were already preparing to storm their respective camps before the sudden announcement.

Police Nabs Lagos Fraudsters Who Defrauded Forex Trader After a Hot Chase

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have overpowered Forex fraudsters after giving a hot chase. Rapid Response Squad   The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Police Command, have arrested two suspected fraudsters who swindled a victim of his N10,000 and two mobile phones in Ojota area of the metropolis. Leadership reports that the suspects identified as Jerry Etiobho, from Edo State, and Emeka Ogu, from Imo State were said to have escaped from their victim identified as Lawan Muhammed but the squad gave them a hot pursuit and succeeded in arrested them. According to the police, the suspects had accosted Lawan Muhammed on Saturday, November 21, 2015, around Ojota, pretending to be seeking his assistance. The police said Etiobho pretended to be an importer whose goods were seized by the Nigerian Customs. He lied to Muhammed that he had a lot of dollars to change. ISIS May Attack Nigeria Soon - Expert Raises Alarm
