See What the Late Football Legend, Rashidi Yekini's Daughters are Planning for Him

Four years after late Nigerian football legend, Rashidi Yekini's untimely demise, his two beautiful daughters, Yemisi and Omoyemi Yekini are set to immortalize the name of the late hero.
They have chosen to showcase the happy times and fond memories of the icon by turning the late Yekini’s house in Ibadan to a museum.
The passing on of Yekini to the great beyond on May 4, 2012 had been shrouded with controversy and his children were seeking to celebrate the life and times of their father in a manner befitting a legend through the Rashidi Yekini Foundation.
Speaking with a select crop of sports writers in Lagos, the eldest daughter, Yemisi revealed that apart from the Foundation which would be mainly focused on charity works, they were also planning a testimonial match to bid their father a final farewell.
SunNewsonline reports that Yemisi, a graduate of Cinematography from De Mantfert University, Leicester, United Kingdom, disclosed that the museum would be used to showcase every of late Yekini’s trophies, medals and other memorabilia’s of his sojourn in football and called on Nigerians to assist them in immortalizing their dad’s name.
“We want to debunk the claims that we are suffering. I and my sister Yemi come from a great home.
"Our father was awesome and we have fond memories of him.”
