Arsenal football club has earmarked Bournemouth head coach, Eddie Howe as a successor to Arsene Wenger, according to the Daily Star.

The Emirates Stadium hierarchy have been impressed by the young manager's tactical approach and are happy it would transition well to the Premier League giants.

Wenger shares their enthusiasm, though the long-serving manager's recommendations will only be taken as additional options and not result in an automatic appointment.

The report claims Arsenal would have been happy to see Wenger take up the England post this summer as they begin their search to replace the Frenchman, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract.

Josh Webb killed his mother Police in Oregon say a man entered a grocery store over the weekend while carrying the severed head of his mother before allegedly stabbing a cashier seven times. According to Inside Edition, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Josh Webb and charged him with murder and attempted murder after the horrific scene unfolded at the Estacada Thriftway outside Portland. In a 911 call placed at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the caller reported a male had entered the store, soaked in blood and holding a knife and what looked like a human head. Before the shock had a chance to register with witnesses, the scene somehow grew more terrifying as cops say the assailant stabbed a cashier multiple times with the bloody knife, according to KGW. The burial of the former governor of Kogi state and candidate of the APC in the inconclusive governorship poll in the state , Prince Abubakar Audu, takes place today at Ogbonicha in Ofu Local Government Area.
