Tiger Mauls Woman to Death in China (Photo+Video)

This is the terrifying moment a Tiger dragged a woman and injured several others when they left their vehicle at a wildlife park in Beijing on Saturday.
 
According to the People's Daily, the two women were part of a four-member family group being driven through Badaling Safari World, where part of the attraction is how closely the freely roaming lions and tigers can get to the vehicles.
 
During the trip, one of the women opened the door to get out. A tiger rushed up and snatched her in its jaws and pulled her away. The second woman, who was later reported to be the first one's mother, got out to rescue her, but another tiger attacked and killed her. 
 
Park management rescued the first woman, who was sent to hospital and was in stable condition on Sunday.
 
Visitors to the park, located in the Yanqing district near the Great Wall, are permitted to drive their own vehicles through the area but are warned not to get out. The park has been ordered to temporarily close while an investigation is carried out.

Chief Asuquo Abia, the Secretary, Traditional Rulers Council, Esit Eket, told NAN in Esit Eket on Saturday that the gunmen invaded the palace of the paramount ruler in the wee hours of Friday morning. No fewer than 10 unknown gunmen on Friday night kidnapped the pregnant wife of Ubong Assam, the paramount ruler of Esit Eket in Akwa Ibom. The gunmen also abducted the four children of the traditional ruler. Abia, who is also the Village Head of Afaha Akpenedi, said the gunmen shot sporadically for over five hours from 1.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. “The gunmen destroyed part of the palace with dynamites and broke into all the rooms and carted away valuables,’’ he said. Joint Task Force Arrests Top Commander of Niger Delta Militant Group

  A top Commander of the Urhobo/Isoko militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM), has been nabbed by the operatives of the Joint Task Force (JTF) code-named Operation Delta Safe.   It would be recalled that the NDGJM kickstarted full scale militant operations in the oil rich region after the foremost group Niger Delta Avengers announced a ceasefire after a tentative agreement with the Federal Government.
