Boy Chained in a Celestial Church in Ogun Rescued by NSCDC

On the 22nd of July 2016, at about 10:30hrs at Ajibawo in Ado odo OTA division 2, NSCDC officers rescued a boy named Taiwo Korede aged nine years who had been chained for weeks at Celestial Church of Christ key of Joy Parish Ajiwo in Ogun State.
 
This heinous crime that has attracted the attention of well meaning Nigerians was announced on Facebook.
 
From the pictures, the chains were sealed with a padlock without the keys being available. The security operative had to cut it with a saw.
 
The case has since been transfered to the appropriate authority for further investigation.

Man Beheads His Own Mom on Mother's Day

Josh Webb killed his mother   Police in Oregon say a man entered a grocery store over the weekend while carrying the severed head of his mother before allegedly stabbing a cashier seven times.   According to Inside Edition, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Josh Webb and charged him with murder and attempted murder after the horrific scene unfolded at the Estacada Thriftway outside Portland.   In a 911 call placed at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the caller reported a male had entered the store, soaked in blood and holding a knife and what looked like a human head.   Before the shock had a chance to register with witnesses, the scene somehow grew more terrifying as cops say the assailant stabbed a cashier multiple times with the bloody knife, according to KGW.    In a subsequent 911 call, a witness told the operator that employees had restrained the assailant and requested medical help for the victim.   Minut...

Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. He has left the school damaged without recognition.
