Police Nabs Lagos Fraudsters Who Defrauded Forex Trader After a Hot Chase

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have overpowered Forex fraudsters after giving a hot chase. Rapid Response Squad   The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Police Command, have arrested two suspected fraudsters who swindled a victim of his N10,000 and two mobile phones in Ojota area of the metropolis. Leadership reports that the suspects identified as Jerry Etiobho, from Edo State, and Emeka Ogu, from Imo State were said to have escaped from their victim identified as Lawan Muhammed but the squad gave them a hot pursuit and succeeded in arrested them. According to the police, the suspects had accosted Lawan Muhammed on Saturday, November 21, 2015, around Ojota, pretending to be seeking his assistance. The police said Etiobho pretended to be an importer whose goods were seized by the Nigerian Customs. He lied to Muhammed that he had a lot of dollars to change. An expert has called on the Federal Government to put security measures in place to forestall possible attacks by ISIS on Nigeria.   A security expert, Ona Ekhomu has raised an alarm concerning a terror attack that is about to happen in Nigeria.   According to the Punch, Ekhomu implored the federal government to take issues of tackling insurgency in the country very serious.     The expert said rather that wait for the attack to occur just like it recently did in Paris, France, the federal government should call on Nigerians who can help forestall it.   Ekhomu, who is the President of the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operators of Nigeria, in a statement on Monday, said recent intelligence intercepts indicated that an ISIS attack on Nigeria was imminent.   He said:  “ISIS could use its Nigerian affiliate, Boko Haram, to wreak havoc here in order to signal its capability to carry out worldwide terroris...

President Buhari   In a statement issued on Wednesday by Segun Adeyemi, the special adviser to Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, the President Buhari-led federal government has appointed Bayo Onanuga, editor-in-chief of TheNews, as the managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).   In all, six new chief executives have been appointed to replace those who were disengaged in some parastatals of the federal ministry of information and culture on February 15th 2016.   The new Chief Executives are:   1.
