Social Media Set Ablaze Over News of APC Guber Candidate, Abubakar Audu's Death


Anxiety has beset the social media following the shocking disclosure of the death of Kogi state APC governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu.
 
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate of the Kogi State governorship election, Alhaji Abubakar Audu who was leading in the election, is dead.

ThisDay reports that he died Sunday afternoon from what was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sources said he started vomiting blood and could not be rescurcitated.
 
As the news of his death emerged, the social media came alive with many asking how true it is.

Gunmen Abducted Paramount Ruler’s Pregnant Wife

Chief Asuquo Abia, the Secretary, Traditional Rulers Council, Esit Eket, told NAN in Esit Eket on Saturday that the gunmen invaded the palace of the paramount ruler in the wee hours of Friday morning. No fewer than 10 unknown gunmen on Friday night kidnapped the pregnant wife of Ubong Assam, the paramount ruler of Esit Eket in Akwa Ibom. The gunmen also abducted the four children of the traditional ruler. Abia, who is also the Village Head of Afaha Akpenedi, said the gunmen shot sporadically for over five hours from 1.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. “The gunmen destroyed part of the palace with dynamites and broke into all the rooms and carted away valuables,’’ he said. He said the gunmen arrived at the palace on Thursday claiming to be policemen from Abuja on an investigation. “They later came back the next day around 1.30 a.m. and shot sporadically till 6 a.m. in the morning,’’ Abia said. The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo State has suffered a set back as two former commissioners, Local government Chairmen and two former Lawmakers defected to the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.    They claimed that over 5000 of former PDP chieftains dumped the ruling party for the opposition Party according to the Vanguard. Female Suicide Bomber Captured With a Suicide Belt (Photo)

A young girl has been caught with a suicide belt before she was able to blow herself up and killing others in the process.     The girl pictured above is a Sudanese female suicide bomber who was reportedly captured with a suicide belt with which she would have caused a massive destruction.   According to Terror Monitor, the girl who was a supporter of the Islamic State was captured in Sabratha, Libya with the explosive belt and has been handed over to the appropriate authorities.
