Social Media Set Ablaze Over News of APC Guber Candidate, Abubakar Audu's Death


Anxiety has beset the social media following the shocking disclosure of the death of Kogi state APC governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu.
 
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate of the Kogi State governorship election, Alhaji Abubakar Audu who was leading in the election, is dead.

ThisDay reports that he died Sunday afternoon from what was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sources said he started vomiting blood and could not be rescurcitated.
 
As the news of his death emerged, the social media came alive with many asking how true it is.

Prisoner Attempts to Escape Jail through the Toilet (Photos+Video)

A prisoner who made a desperate attempt to escape via the toilet of the prison has been caught on camera by security operatives with a punishment awaiting him. The prisoner during the escape   A prisoner found himself in deep trouble quite literally after attempting a Shawshank Redemption style escape from a jail via the communal toilet. In the footage, the man is seen attempting to slither head first through the hole in the ground, his body completely covered in excrement. As the man attempts to wriggle through the clogged sewerage pipes, two men grab hold of his legs and pull him back out of the hole.   Another shot shows the man covered from head to toe in poop after being returned to his prison cell. It is thought the man was attempting to escape from a prison in Brazil but the exact location is not clear. The video was uploaded to LiveLeak.com on December 29 and has clocked up more than 135,400 views.   See the video:

Mfreke Effiong clubbed his father to death with a stick A disagreement between a husband and wife has led to the murder of the husband by the 25-year-old son, Mfreke Effiong, from Ikot Akpainyang Asutan village, in Ibesikpo/Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
