Al Qaeda-Affiliated Group Claims Responsibility for Mali Hotel Attack

A group having links with deadly jihadist sect, al-Qaeda, has claimed they were responsible for the attack on the Mali hotel

Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and its affiliate al-Murabitoun, which is led by Algerian militant Mokhtar Belmokhtar, have claimed joint responsibility for the attack on the Radisson Blu hotel in Mali's capital, Bamako, the Mauritanian news agency Al-Akhbar reported.
 
Al-Akhbar is considered a reliable source of information about al-Murabitoun operations, and the group has often chosen to publish its messages through the agency.
 
Meanwhile, Qatar-based Al-Jazeera TV says that it has obtained a copy of a recorded statement made by al-Murabitoun.
 
In a Tweet by BBC, it seems there are no longer hostages been held by Islamic militants. Check on it below;

A man with an avid taste for having several women under his roof as wives, has married his 57th wife in Enugu.     The 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as number 57th wife.   According to Vanguard, the who hails from Enugu state, took the girl from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state, last November.   Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was however married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died. Scores were feared killed as yet another bomb blast went off in Kano state hitting a popular market in the North-Eastern Nigerian city. Three persons have been confirmed dead after an explosion believed to be from a bomb went off at the GSM market in Kano, north-east Nigeria.  At least eight persons were also injured in the blast that occurred on Wednesday afternoon though details of the explosion is still sketchy. The General Manager, Operations at Channels TV, Kayode Akintemi took to his Twitter account to give more details on the bomb blast.
