I haven’t found the right man – Genevieve Nnaji


Genevieve Nnaji has opened up on why she decided to produce her own movie ‘Road to Yesterday’, ,following her long hiatus .She also revealed though she hasn’t ruled out marriage,she is waiting for the right man.. Excerpts from her interview with Chux Ohai of Punch
On why it has taken her a long time to join the growing ranks of new generation movie producers in the country, Genevieve says,On marriage ..
 “I chose to be an actress. Acting was what I had always wanted to do. I don’t think that I ever imagined myself producing a film. I love acting. If the Nigerian movie industry was as stable as it should be, I probably would have been on the set of a movie every day of my life and not be bothered about what goes on behind the camera. So it is a matter of choice and preference.”
Genevieve to choose a life partner and finally walk down the aisle, marriage does not seem to be in her agenda yet. Asked when she would finally take the plunge, the actress replies that contrary to speculations, she has not ruled out marriage. But that she would make up her mind as soon as she meets the right person.
“I haven’t found the right man yet. When he comes, I’ll get married,” she says.

A man with an avid taste for having several women under his roof as wives, has married his 57th wife in Enugu.     The 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as number 57th wife.   According to Vanguard, the who hails from Enugu state, took the girl from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state, last November.   Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was however married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died. UPDATE: 13 People Killed & 8 Injured in Kano GSM Market Bomb Explosion...Details

Scores were feared killed as yet another bomb blast went off in Kano state hitting a popular market in the North-Eastern Nigerian city. Three persons have been confirmed dead after an explosion believed to be from a bomb went off at the GSM market in Kano, north-east Nigeria.  At least eight persons were also injured in the blast that occurred on Wednesday afternoon though details of the explosion is still sketchy. The General Manager, Operations at Channels TV, Kayode Akintemi took to his Twitter account to give more details on the bomb blast.
