President Buhari Dining With Nigerian Senators At the Villa (Photos)

President Buhari entertained Nigerian senators from both APC and PDP at the villa before he jetted out of the country on Wednesday.

President Muhammadu Buhari, along with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo entertained members of the Nigerian Senators on Wednesday night at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa before jetting out to Malta and France. 
 
The Senators were led by Senate President Bukola Saraki to the dinner. The dinner was arranged to relax tensions built up in the polity over the past months. The APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu also joined the senators during the dinner as they were entertained to sumptuous meals.

Nigerian Hairstylist Caught at the Airport Hiding Cocaine in Her Bra

Nnaji Juliet Ijeoma A Brazil-based Nigerian hairstylist has been caught by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Friday hiding cocaine in her bra. The suspect, Nnaji Juliet Ijeoma, 30 was arrested at the airport during the inward screening of South African Airways.  According to  SaharaReporters , if the suspect had succeeded smuggling in the drug into Nigeria, she stood to reap the sum of N1 million from her sponsors. A statement by the spokesman of NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju said that the suspect had white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine with a gross weight of 535 grams.  While responding to the woman's arrest, NDLEA Commander at the Lagos airport, Ahmadu Garba  said that the incident is being investigated and immediately the agency was through with its investigation Ms. Ijeoma would be charged to court for prosecution. Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured    Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari   Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage.   It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th.   CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012.   It is an honour well deserved.   See more photos below:
