Lady Cries Out After Nasarawa State Govt Fired Her Over Criticisms on Facebook (Photos)

A Nigerian civil servant has been abruptly relieved of her duties for taking to social media to announce the death of her colleague who died in the line of duty.

Ruqayyat Tijani Usman, pictured above, lost her civil service job with the Nasarawa State government Ministry of Justice on Thursday after she blasted them on Facebook and the government got to know about it. 
 
She however took to Twitter last night to break the news.

Ruqqayat had gotten furious when news broke that her close friend who was a medical doctor named Ibrahim Oshafu at Dalhatu Specialist Hospital (DASH) Lafia, Nassarawa state was confirmed dead after treating a patient with Lassa Fever.

DASH is the only specialist hospital owned by the Nassarawa state government.

At that time also, organised Labour in Nasarawa was on industrial action over non payment of salaries, half payment of salaries to local government workers and non payment of staff benefits.

An infuriated Ruqqayat expressed her disappointment on Facebook only for it to cost her her job.

Professor Ade Ajayi’s book on Crowther, source of this letter   Ajayi Crowther was ordained as the first African bishop of the Anglican Church. However, his background was rough. He was 12 years old when he was captured, along with his mother and toddler brother and other family members, along with his entire village, by Muslim Fulani slave raiders in 1821 and sold to Portuguese slave traders. In his Feb 22nd, 1837 letter to Rev.   Read the official statement below:   Troops of 26 Battalion, 151 Task Force Battalion, 155 Task Force Battalion and some elements of 21 Brigade have carried out a joint clearance operations to destroy remnants of Boko Haram terrorists camps and enclaves in the early hours of today in several villages in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.   The villages include Kircha Goniye, Wujjah Alkelu, Kita Jiddum, Jameri, Geri Gana, Gere Kura and Jabe. Other villages cleared by the troops were Hasana Jere and Chachile. During the operation, own troops came in contact with elements of the terrorists group during which 2 of the terrorists were killed.
