A church has been thrown into pandemonium after the pastor was shot dead inside the church by his own brother who was sitting in the congregation.

70-year-old Pastor William Schooler, (pictured above) a pastor at St Peter's Missionary Baptist in Dayton, Ohio was shot and killed by his own brother, Daniel Schooler, while service was in session at the church.

According to BClems News, the choir was singing when the suspect, 69-year-old Daniel, got up, followed the pastor and shot him as he got behind the pulpit. He died at the scene from his injuries.

While the motive for the shooting is not clear, it is believed that it was related to a domestic incident.

William Schooler was a decorated Vietnam veteran who was awarded the Bronze star graduated from Central State University in 1972, the Ohio State University in 1976, and Grace College, Columbia, South Carolina in 2003.

He was appointed pastor of the church in 2011.

A SEMA official gathering the remains of the suicide bombers Three suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have died in an attempt to attack Muna Garage, Dabarmari and Dusuma villages in Maiduguri metropolis.
