Witches and Wizards Are Responsible for Rev. King's Death Sentence - Church Members

Members of Christian Praying Assembly have expressed optimism that their General Overseer, Rev. King who was sentenced to death will return as they cursed witches and wizards for his fate.

Church members of Christian Praying Assembly (CPA) whose General Overseer, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (aka Rev. King), who has been sentenced to death by hanging have said the sentence is the handiwork of witches and wizards.
 
However, the members revealed that nothing will happen to their overseer as he will be let loose to return and join them.
 
Rev. King was sentenced to death in 2007 for the burning to death of a member of his church in 2006 and last week, lost an appeal before the Supreme Court which means that he will have to die by hanging.
 
The church members are defiant. They still believe that their General Overseer will soon be let loose by a divine intervention. During the first church service after the Supreme Court decision at the Lagos headquarters at Ajao Estate, off the Murtala Muhammad Airport Road.
 
Pastor Ifeanyi King, who preached said: “Our G.O. (General Overseer) the most holiness, Rev King, is coming back. He said he would come back and we believe the words of his mouth. We believe his report that he is coming back. Everything happening now we know is the handiwork of witches and wizard. Soon a new story will emerge.”

“Whether people realise it or not, everybody now knows his holiness, our G.O. Rev King. The front pages of newspapers are flooded with his name. People are yearning to read about him in the social media. I can confirm to you that by all these, a lot of people have become endeared to him. Our Daddy G.O. shall live forever for us in Jesus name.”
 
They sang hymns and danced to mark “the birthday of the G.O.”

Professor Ade Ajayi’s book on Crowther, source of this letter   Ajayi Crowther was ordained as the first African bishop of the Anglican Church. However, his background was rough. He was 12 years old when he was captured, along with his mother and toddler brother and other family members, along with his entire village, by Muslim Fulani slave raiders in 1821 and sold to Portuguese slave traders. In his Feb 22nd, 1837 letter to Rev.   Read the official statement below:   Troops of 26 Battalion, 151 Task Force Battalion, 155 Task Force Battalion and some elements of 21 Brigade have carried out a joint clearance operations to destroy remnants of Boko Haram terrorists camps and enclaves in the early hours of today in several villages in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.   The villages include Kircha Goniye, Wujjah Alkelu, Kita Jiddum, Jameri, Geri Gana, Gere Kura and Jabe.
