Nigerian Drug Peddler Arrested in South Africa (Photos)

Some Nigerians have continued their quest to tarnish the image of the country as yet another young man has been caught in South Africa peddling drugs.
 
The Metro Police's Germiston crime prevention task team in Kempton Park, South Africa, has arrested a 39-year-old Nigerian drug peddler. 
 
The Nigerian man with a life-partner permit that expired in 2014, was nabbed at the intersection of West and Central streets in the Kempton Park CBD around 11am on Thursday, February 11.
 
 
It was revealed that he was found in possession of five blocks of 'Cat' estimated to be worth R25,000 (N318, 250) on the street. Methcathinone also called Cat, is a recreational drug and considered addictive. It is either smoked, snorted, injected or taken orally. 
 
The charge of possession of an illicit substance was registered at Kempton Park Police Station and the suspect is expected to appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon.
