The Ekiti State governor has been seen riding on a commercial motorcycle in the state as he went about inspecting several taps in a community.

Governor Ayo Fayose who is known for his 'stomach infrastructure' manner of governance, was pictured riding on a motorcycle (Okada) around Aramoko Ekiti in Ekiti West LGA of Ekiti State today.

The Governor was on a mission to inspect some of the water fetching points in the community. His government had just installed portable water to the locality after 8 years without any source of portable drinking water.

Tragedy as Lagos Council Staff Electrocuted to Death Right Inside Her Office

An officer with a Lagos state local government council has tragically died right inside her office when she got electrocuted. It was an absolutely tragic struck scene on Thursday in Ikorodu Local Government of Lagos State when the revenue officer with the council was found electrocuted. The police spokesperson in Lagos, SP Oladapo Badmos, said in a statement on Friday that the victim, Mrs Toyin Ogunjebe, was electrocuted in her office at the council secretariat. ”She was taken to Ikorodu General Hospital where she was confirmed dead. Her corpse has been deposited at the hospital’s morgue for autopsy,” the statement said. According to the statement, the police Is investigating the incident.

The suicide bomber, it was gathered entered the University through the back gate with the aim of penetrating the school before being gunned down by a vigilant soldier. Confirming the incident, the public relations officer of the school , Mr Tanko Ahmed said the incident occurred around 11pm Sunday night. He said the works department where the incident occurred have been cordoned off by security agents to render the area safe. ”The area have been cordoned off by security agents.”
