Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde attended the 2016 ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood awards luncheon yesterday, February 25, 2016, at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
 
The 36-year old screeen goddess who is no stranger to hanging out with Hollywood stars, was spotted with several celebrities at the star-studded event including Oprah Winfrey, Boris Kodjoe, Estelle, Thandie Newton, Garceille Beauvais, Nicole Ari Parker and more.

Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. According to her, the fire immediately followed the sound of an eruption affecting the Agbada/Bomu trunk line.   "Goi, another Ogoni community, is on fire this early morning from an eruption on the 28-inch Agbada/Bomu trunkline belonging to Shell, which is just a few meters from the surveillance post. Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido Thrown Into Prison

Former Governor, Sule Lamido   A Jigawa State Magistrate Court has on Tuesday, remanded a former governor of the state, Sule Lamido, in prison custody.   According to the Chief Magistrate Usman Lamin, Lamido will remain in Dutse prison until May 4 when applications for his bail will be decided.   The magistrate said he needed time to decide on the application for bail and another on the police’s First Investigation Report, FIR, brought as evidence in the case.   Lamido is being prosecuted by Ikenna Ekpunobi who obtained a fiat by the Jigawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Sani Gabbas.    The ex-governor is being prosecuted on a four-count charge of inciting disturbance contrary to section 114 of the Penal Code, disturbance of public peace contrary to section 113 of the Penal Code, defamation of character punishable under section 392 of the Penal Code and criminal intimidation punishable under section 397 of the P...
