Forgotten Nigerian singer who once was popular with the music group, Plantashun Boiz has attacked his former group member 2Face Idibia with hefty allegations of theft. Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo a.k.a BlackFace   Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo popularly called BlackFace is spitting fire after he accused legendary singer, 2Face Idibia of stealing his songs and making money off his music. The former member of the defunct group, Plantashun Boiz of which 2Face was a member alleged that 2Face stole the hit song 'African Queen ' from him.    He made the allegations today (Monday) using his Twitter and Instagram handle @Blackfacenaija. BlackFace who gained popularity with his single 'Erima ' before phasing out of the system did not stop at the allegations alone. The recent scandals in the Nigerian music industry relating to song theft left music fans shocked and speechless with some asking how our music stars could come to such low depths. Blackface and 2face   Most recently, the Nigerian music scene has been abuzz with accusations and counter-accusations of artistes stealing their colleagues’ songs ans this has left many fans shocked and others amused. It even came to the point that dancehall sensation, Black Face of the defunct Plantashun Boyz recently accused Wizkid of stealing his song, “Ojuelegba.” According to him, “I never really wanted to talk about it all this while but after people started checking out my new song, Killa, many felt Blackface sounded like Wizkid, which I didn’t like. If you check properly, you would realize that Wizkid’s hit sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010.” Even 2face was not spared from the accusation of song theft by Black Face.

A Deputy Director of the Federal Inland Revenue Service has been nabbed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to answer to charges of abuse of office. EFCC   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Abumere Joseph Osagie, a Deputy Director, Regional Tax Office of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), for allegedly attempting to extort N5 million from the Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja, Senator Ahmed Datti. The Nation reports that he was arrested with one Jamila Ojora for abuse of office and bribery. A statement issued by the Head, Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren,  said the FIRS deputy director was arrested following a complaint about his attempt to extort a university chancellor’s N5million. The statement said: “Osagie and one Jamila Ojora had on January 27, 2016 allegedly approached Senator Ahmed Datti, the Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja and gave him a tax assessment of N20,029, 496.00

Some secondary school students who were initiated into a cult group have been nabbed alongside their leader who insisted on having s*x with the females during the initiation process.   About eight secondary school students have been arrested by the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for being cult members.
