Obasanjo Returns $200 Million Dollars To Nigeria, And Names Of Corrupt Leaders To Buhari

Change is set to hit the country and there has been cases of several leaders in Nigeria turning a new leaf. Its no news that Nigeria is a very great country with a capacity of greatness.
 
The House of Representatives had started investigations into how a $5m grant given to the Lake Chad Basin Commission during the administration of former president Olusegun Obasanjo was spent.

The investigation has caused the former President to return $200 million dollars to the Nigerian government including names of corrupt leaders to President Buhari.

The submitted list includes 2 former Presidents and some governors whom Buhari has said he WILL probe AND jail if they are found guilty of corruption.

CBN Security Guard Arrested for Stealing Specimen Naira Currency Notes

Vatasama Danladi Vatasama Danladi, a security guard attached to the Central Bank of Nigeria has been arraigned for stealing specimen Naira currency notes. Danladi got into trouble after he deposited the stolen specimen naira notes amounting to N299,000 at Guarantee Trust Bank's ATM deposit machines in Karu and Mararaba sometime in January 2016. He got into legal trouble when the bank found the 299 pieces of N1000 marked “specimen” during a process of cash count sometime in January.   He appeared before Justice Kolo of Abuja High Court yesterday where he pleaded not guilty. In view of his plea, counsel to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Counsel, EFCC, Andrew Akoja, urged the court to remand the accused and fix a date for trial.

A man has meted out the most heinous form of punishment to his lover on Valentine's Day for allegedly turning down his request.    A student of Psychology Department of University of Jos, Miss Zakariah Nanchin, has been reportedly killed by a man believed to be her lover, for purportedly turning down his Valentine Day’s outing invitation.   Nanchin was allegedly strangled to death by her lover, one Badung David Dele on Monday, the day after Valentine at her Angwa Rukuba apartment in Jos.   According to The Nation, Dele was said to have reached out to Nanchin apparently to settle their differences and invited her out for Valentine.
