Boko Haram Member on 'Wanted List' Nabbed By Army in Delta

A Boko Haram member who is on the army wanted list of the terror sect, has been nabbed as he arrived Delta state.

A middle-aged man suspected to be a member of the Boko Haram sect has been apprehended in Sapele, Delta, by officers of the 19 Battalion of Nigerian Army.

The suspect, Bukar Abacha, was arrested shortly after he arrived the popular Hausa quarters in Sapele.

A senior army officer who did not want his name mentioned, said on Thursday that a member of the Arewa community gave the information to “Operation Pulo Shield.’’
 
The Borno-state born suspect was, thereafter, handed over to the Army Headquarters in Abuja for further interrogation, the senior officer said. He also revealed that the suspect was on the wanted list of the army.

“Before the arrest, community leaders informed us that the suspect was looking strange, psychologically imbalance and uncomfortable in their midst that called for his doubt as one of them," he said.

The officer urged the people to give the army necessary intelligent information that would assist to effectively stamp out crime in the society.

He urged residents to report people with questionable character or strange movement of persons in their domains.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the army pasted lists of names, containing 100 wanted Boko Haram suspects in some strategic places in Sapele metropolis.

Rapper Jay Z is asking a judge to keep his financial and criminal records confidential in his 'Big Pimpin' lawsuit, insisting the documents do not pertain to the case.   A SEMA official gathering the remains of the suicide bombers   Three suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have died in an attempt to attack Muna Garage, Dabarmari and Dusuma villages in Maiduguri metropolis.   The incident occurred at about 4:38am on Sunday morning. Woman wakes Up to Find 17-ft Python Slithering Around in Her Room (Photos)

  The woman, identified as Trina Hibberd, from Mission Beach in Queensland, woke on Monday to find the 5.2m scrub python in her room.   The python named Monty was stretched from her lounge room to her bedroom.   According to BBC, Monty managed to turn on a light and knock over a lamp before snake-catcher Dave Goodwin arrived to take out the reptile.   Mr Goodwin induced the snake to wrap around his forearm before capturing it inside a plastic home-brewing jug.     He told the BBC the 40kg snake was  "choking [his] arm to death"  before he transferred it into the tub.   "When you go near them they have this real deep gurgle in their throat, which means in other words don't come near me,"  he said.   To encourage the snake to grab hold of his arm, Mr Goodwin first grabbed it near the head with a pair of tongs.   "The tongs won't hold it, it's too big, so I use the tongs to divert its attentio...
