Nigeria's Super Eagles Crash Out of CHAN

Guinea has knocked out the Super Eagles from the ongoing CAF African Nations Championship after an unreplied goal in the first half.
 
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have crashed out of the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The Eagles crashed out in the group stage after suffering a lone goal defeat to the Syli Stars of Guinea. Ibrahima Sankhon scored the only goal of the encounter on the stroke of half time.
 
His goal moved Guinea to the second place on the table, with Tunisia topping the table.
 
Super Eagles' coach, Sunday Oliseh is yet to issue an official statement concerning the loss.

Suspected kidnappers on Saturday abducted and killed the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State.   According to family sources who spoke to PremiumTimes on Saturday, the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area, Hosea Azi was kidnapped on Friday evening along Miango road, in Kufang, near former NYSC Secretariat in Jos South Local Government Area of the state. The ongoing trial of former NIMASA Director-General Patrick Akpobolokemi over the misappropriation of government funds has continued to reveal mind-boggling revelations. Patrick Akpobolokemi A prosecution witness, Mr Emeka Emelano, Tuesday told the Federal High Court in Lagos that he did not ask why the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) paid his company N72million even though it did not bid for any contract, the Nation reports. The first prosecuting witness, one Samuel Madujemu, an investigator in the Asset Tracing Department of the Code of Conduct Bureau just began his testimony.   The witness said the former minister was issued asset declaration forms five times between 2007 and 2011.
