Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of Daar Communications, owners of AIT and a contestant for the national chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was spotted on a queue at Ward 1 Unit 8. Agenebode in Edo State where voting has already commenced.

It will be a hard fight between Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress, and Andrew Ize-Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party as the election commences.

It is expected that about two million eligible voters in Edo State will participate in the election

Drama as Spiritualist Reports Armed Robbery Suspects to Police

Men of the Nigeria Police Force   A gang of suspected armed robbers, who operate along the Lagos and Ogun state border, has been betrayed by their own spiritual consultant after he allegedly reported their activities to police.    Vanguard reports that they stole a Toyota Highlander and locked the owner in the booth of car. They later dropped the man by the road side before going away with the vehicle.    The gang parked it in the premises of the spiritualist at Ilaro, a border community in Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State. The trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal resumed today with a change of rules and regulations during the case hearing for the purpose of orderliness. Danladi Umar    CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar introduced 2 new rules to the trial . The rules are : (1) Use of camera phones and iPads are now prohibited.   (2) All security men with rifles in the courtroom would henceforth stay outside the courtroom.   Rumours have it that the decision must have been arrived at to reduce the activities of pressmen saturating the online media with diverse reports during the legal proceeding especially the confrontation between the Judge and lawyer to Saraki, Oluyede which went viral on social media.
