Nnamdi Kanu All Smiles as His Mother Supports Him in Court

The embattled leader of the Indegenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, who is facing treason charges brought by the federal government for leading a separatist group, alongside two others; Benjamin Madubgwu and David Nwawuisi, before Justice John Tsoho, was pictured in court as his trial resumed today, September 26.
The pro-Biafra leader was pictured arriving the court premises this morning beaming with smiles all over as his mother, Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu and siblings appeared to show him support and solidarity in today's court proceddings.

We had earlier reported today that John Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has stepped down from the trial of Nnamdi Kanu. He is the second judge to do so.
The first judge in the case, Ahmed Mohammed, stepped down in December 2015, after Mr. Kanu had said he had no confidence in him.
